Love this place! Four of us shared the sausage and leek frittata, braised brisket hash, buttermilk pancakes, fried chicken and a side of fries. Portions were just about right and everything tasted great. Hope to be back and try their cocktails!

First and foremost, make reservations. It seems everyone does and there will be a wait if you walk in. We did brunch, and had made reservations.

Farm to table concept, with a nice, warm, local feel. They also have a creative menu. Loved their mocktail selection, which was great for kids – adults ordered mimosas, and were left a bit disappointed. The pours were the smallest ever!

The menu is fairly basic – ricotta pancakes were good, really fluffy and good flavor. Their signature breakfast eggs, hash, toast was good as well. The smashed potatoes were nice and crunchy. I think the simple menu may help with consistency.

Another must try if you’re in the area.

Had an excellent brunch here. The brisket hash was delicious as was the crepes. Prices are more on the expensive side but the food helped justify the price. Decor was trendy and service friendly.

Came here for brunch on a weekend with the BF without a reservation and were seated immediately. It was busy but not completely full. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the hash, which were both excellent. The coffee was also quite good. It’s a relatively small space with high ceiling, lots of glass windows, clean interior, nicely designed. Locally sourced ingredients, american farm to table style dishes. The menu isn’t huge, but I feel like there’s enough variety everyone can find something they will like, and every dish I have had there has been pretty delicious. They also have some fun cocktails that I’ve tried before and they are tasty. Servers are friendly and attentive.

Outstanding fried chickpea and spicy pickles appetizer. Flaky halibut was subtly flavored with a tomato broth. Peach cobbler was really good, but not mind blowing. Cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

So much potential. I had the brisket tacos. My first taco had only fat which for some may be a plus but not for me. By the second taco I began picking the pieces of fat out. The meat that was left was delicious. But by the time I took the fat out there was little meat left. The cabbage slaw in the taco was fresh and crisp.

Had a terrific brunch at 31st Union with some friends from out of town. Everything was delicious, staff very friendly and helpful, and the space is really cool. Located in a hopping area right down by the train station in San Mateo, we had a great time. Will definitely have to come back.

I had lunch here today, had the chicken sandwich and the “Ojai, how are you?” cocktail, both were delicious. Our server Matt was super helpful and made great recommendations. I’m looking forward to coming back!

Apple and Quince Clafoutis, Pear and Cranberry Crumble, Winter Squash Casserole and Christmas Morning Mimosas made our Christmas Eve brunch complete! All were available for order online and curbside pickup, so convenient in this time of COVID. The desserts were a delicous hit with our family!!!

Probably the best huevos rancheros I’ve ever had. Quotes from brunch include “Wow. How is this egg so creamy?” “Why is there a lemon peel with my espresso? Its fancy bro.” “Thats super rich” “The cream is so cute”
