I’ve been here before and have had good experiences up until this recent visit. When I walked in, the two young staff members were both on their phones. I expected a hello or at least a smile to acknowledge me. I didn’t get either one. They looked at me like I inconvenienced them. I received my ice cream and left feeling awkward like I shouldn’t have bothered them. When I got home and started eating my ice cream, I found a hair in it…
I love the ice cream here but I may not be returning for a while until the staff learn how to treat their customers better. It doesn’t look good for staff to be on their phones in front of customers either.

Such a great ice cream find.. and a great way to end the summer! Everything tasted amazing and super friendly staff! Portions were large and for $1 you put your own sprinkles on your ice cream!! We will def be coming back!

Cubby’s is a cute and homie ice cream shop. Everyone welcomed us in with open arms and felt like home. They have such amazing options for ice cream. I recommend the couch potato, it is phenomenal! There are board games and plenty of things to do inside to keep the kiddos occupied. There is private parking available. Highly recommend!

Very cool hometown boutique ice cream shop on the main floor of large two story vintage home. Nice selection of good quality ice creams, shakes, and cones. Couple of small seating area inside with a large porch for sitting outside. Definitely worth the stop if you for a cool sweet treat!

We stumbled upon this place by accident. And what a great accident! The ice cream was really delicious! Cute indoor and outdoor areas. . . Lots of games on the deck, sidewalk chalk area…very kid-friendly! I had the black cherry, almond jamocha and mint chocolate chip. Soooooo yummy!

DOG FRIENDLY! We will be back some interesting flavors. Couch potato and Cubby’s campfire s’mores. Out of these two I liked the couch potato.

Update 10/22/25 Fall season flavors are in for scooping! I tried the Brookie today.

Not only is Cubby’s proudly open all season (looking at you King Cone!), but their ice cream is truly delicious and we had a great time chatting it up with the young folks who worked there.

Really enjoyed the aesthetic of the place, with its multiple rooms and large patio, and the unique coffee bean flavors on offer were a nice surprise!

Saw this 4.8* and wanted to try while on vacation.

Holy cow. The best most creamiest hand made ice cream we’ve ever had. Previous winner was Curly’s ice cream in NJ but this now takes #1 spot for us.

We tried their signature ice cream. S’mores. Now we know why. It’s amazingly creamy and soft, with amazing flavor. 10/10. Must have. If we didn’t live 4hrs away, would love to bring the pints back home.

The kids wanted Cotton Candy flavor. That’s 8/10, not as creamy, and flavors slightly off. I’d pass.

Wonderful ice cream shop! Made to order milkshakes any thickness you want! Very cute inside and they make their own waffle cones!
So glad we found it on our trip!

Cubby’s is a very cute shop with great staff and solid ice cream. I went with toasted coconut, salted caramel, and coach potato. The first two were pretty soft, especially considering the shop had opened only an hour earlier. I liked the taste of both, but they really were too soft. Couch potato, which is like tin roof sundae with chocolate covered potato chips instead of nuts, was well refrigerated, though, and was very tasty – though I could have done without the chips, if I’m honest.

Lots of seating inside – it’s really quite cute. The ingredients are locally sourced, which is nice, too. I could have handled more flavors to choose from, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy myself.
