No more reservations needed. Come by anytime! I guess the word hadn’t gotten out yet, as it wasn’t very busy for a Friday night, but usually it’s packed.

We loved the Brussel sprouts appetizer, with a drizzle of honey and chopped pistachios! The fried fish tacos and pasta carbonara were both delicious! Great service, we’ll be back!

Support of local restaurants is important to me, but at the same time there needs to be value. Tonight I met friends for dinner, my total order included one of their specialty drinks (I think it was called an “Agnes”, it was good), a salad (no protein added), and a Bell’s beer. The bill was over $33 and I left hungry. Understand that the salad was good, but it was small and cost $16. For those with money to burn, this is great. I’m not one of those people. Compare the size of the salad plate to the fork and you’ll see what I mean. The staff was friendly and other than being a little loud (it was Friday night) I enjoy the decor. But I need more value for my hard earned dollars.

Best restaurant in Dexter. I’ve never had a bad meal here, I am especially partial to their appetizer menu. I highly recommended the BBQ pulled pork waffle fry nachos and the pretzel sticks with beer cheese. They also have a great cocktail menu. Definitely a great happy hour spot especially on the patio.

I really enjoyed our first meal at the Fillmore. The bar menu looks excellent and there is a decent draft menu as well. The starters menu has some really great looking options including pulled pork poutine and pork belly bibimbop. We had some very hearty entrees coming so we did an older of the Fillmore fries which were quite good. Our entrees included a file with broccolini and augratin potatoes and a short rib with gnocchi, mushrooms, and ramps. Both were prepared perfectly. The service was friendly and quick. The food is high end yet the ambiance is more casual so we felt very comfortable in normal clothes and bringing our children. Both children had a very nicely prepared meal of grilled chicken, carrots, and whipped potatoes which was great and my son loved. Though they also had Mac and cheese and grilled cheese for pickier eaters. They have a wonderful deck for outdoor seating in good weather as well.

Tried the Fillmore tonight, on my birthday, because we were given a giftcard.
We waited FOREVER for service and finally had to ask for someone. and still we were there 25 minutes without drinks!
I will not go into detail, lets just the service was terrible and the food was worse( cold soggy fries, bland overcooked chicked and raw fish) The manager ended up comping everything, but we left hungry and cranky.

Great restaurant. Good service and food. Place was empty when we came on a Tuesday afternoon.

Good but not great. We had an enjoyable dinner overall, but the food came up just a little short for the four of us. We each tried bites of each others (scallops, fried chicken, Cajun pasta) and consensus opinion was that we liked everything but didn’t love anything – with one exception – the Fillmore fries appetizer/starter. Those were delicious and the highlight for all four of us.

Great space, beautiful and the food is amazing! Great signature cocktail menu too with a lot of Michigan brands, like Teeq Tequila. Recommend Fillmore to EVERYONE!

Plus- very friendly service, nice atmosphere altho loud, and will be nice to have the enlarged new patio when it gets warm. Food has ups and downs. Still trying to find some favorites I can count on. The side salad is very nice. The pasta itself is delicious but mixed reviews on the sauce and additions to it. Fish with chips is mainly batter so great if you like that. Strawberry shortcake looked divine tonight but I did not order it.

I give restaurants two visits before commenting on them. The atmosphere is very nice with interesting architectural features. Last fall I tried the pulled pork sandwich and I found it to be drowned in sauce but otherwise tasteless. My spouse had a poke bowl and loved it. Tonight we decided to give it another try and sat at the bar. I ordered a cosmopolitan and it was primarily cranberry juice. I think it appeared that they had pre made mixers and I could really tell. We ordered bang bang shrimp and it was so overcooked and dry and had no flavor. The worst I have ever had. We then ordered a burger medium rare as I was afraid to try anything adventurous after the shrimp. It was burnt on the outside and well done. I did send that back no apology from the staff. They tossed us the new one with the same French fries from the original burger. The fries were cold. The staff seemed angry and never once asked us how our food was or engaged us in conversation. I normally tip 30% or higher but I tipped a flat 20%. I will never go back. This was a bummer of a Saturday evening.
