It was great but the workers are not nice and they charged me extra. Good thing I sat down for a few minutes and looked at my receipt. $8 over. Food service was not great at all. I like it when the Owners are there. They are nice and keep it very clean.

Fast fresh, affordable Chinese. $18 choice of 3 main items rice 2 egg rolls and a soda. No complaints for basic food court food. Checks the box when you’re craving some Chinese food. 3 item choice is enough food for 2+ people. You can order smaller portions.

Went to China Pantry at 5:30. They close at 6pm on Sundays. We asked if they could possibly make anymore mushroom chicken as everyone in our party (4 people) were ordering it. They had one scoop of chow mein, one scoop of rice and about that much of all other items. They refused to make more stating it was too close to closing time. The folks behind us ended up leaving and didn’t order. The woman who “helped” us was rude and had an awful attitude. Poor service and poor atmosphere.

They never open at 10am. You Google them opening time is at 10am. That’s the only reason why they getting a one stat review today. They will open at 1030am close to 11am. At times if you arrive here at 10am their will be others waiting for them to open up. It’s always 5 more minutes 5 more minutes. It’s never open exactly at 10am. Change your opening time. It isn’t right for you to post your business hours and not open at that time and have people waiting. Change it to 11am or 1030am.

The food on the steam table at China Pantry looked a LOT better than the other Asian food place in the same food court.
The mushroom chicken was fresh and had a lot of crunchy zucchini. The Orange chicken was tender and enjoyable but not as strongly citrus flavored as some places. The spicy chicken was my least favorite, not particularly spicy or tangy or even interesting but certainly ok.

I seriously l0ve this place! Every time my daughter and I come to Rapid City SD, we come here. ( we come at least two times a month from wyoming) They are the nicest people, the food is fresh and taste good too! Lol, my daughter asked to come here every time. She had been doing this since she was 3 yrs old. She is now 11. This place is located right inside the doors on the south side of the mall. Food court! The T- mobile sign is right there. These are the doors you can enter. When you enter, it will be on the left side. Enjoy!
