I was apprehensive to try this place since I’m not a big fan of chicken salad, but everything was very tasty! I got a sandwich with a croissant and a scoop on the side. It seems like the sandwich comes with less chicken salad on it, so I’d recommend getting a scoop alone then a croissant on the side & adding it in there yourself.

My wife is a HUGE fan of Chicken Salad Chick. I’m a pretty big fan as well. When this location opened in what formerly was the worst Panera Bread I’ve ever been to in my life I was elated.
The entire wall of this location facing the hallway is glass. Floor to ceiling. It’s pretty cool, but if you’re trying to hide from someone this, most definitely, is not the place.
The staff we encountered was great and the nice lady at the counter asked if I’d like to sample something. I got to sample some of their Spicy Pimento Cheese. It was good and had a good spice level, but to me pimento cheese always seems salty.
For me Chicken Salad Chick is the kind of place were, once I find something I like, I tend to order it almost every visit. This visit was no exception. I bellied up to the counter and ordered a Jalapeño Holly on white, toasted.
(side note: I don’t know how Chicken Salad Chick toasts their bread, because it appears it’s only toasted on the outside, and it’s never warm. What kind of sorcery is this?)
Our food was delivered fast and accurate. The jalapeños in this particular batch of Jalapeño Holly were spicier than usual, and I am 100% ok with that. I was just surprised by the spice level a bit.
There was someone from the staff doing a great job of keeping the dining room clean and tables were cleared almost immediately after they were emptied.
I love that Chicken Salad Chick has a sense of whimsy. The signs in the Men’s room are just to cute to not share. 🙂
If I were to make a suggestion, I’d suggest another trash receptacle. There’s only one and it’s by the main entry door, but there’s another door farther down the glass wall. It’d be nice if there was one by that door as well.

Chicken salad. Everything that might go with that. As a scoop, as a salad, as a sandwich. Pimento cheese. I like the spicy variants: jalapeno holly and spicy pimento cheese. Reasonably inexpensive and fairly healthy, relative to other counter service food.

I see a worker bringing a large to go order out, and venture to ask if there is a separate area for pick-ups.
To which she rolls her eyes, walks to a small register behind the counter, announces my order is “RIGHT HERE” both rudely & loudly. Then very rudely proceeds to read me on “there is a sign, and you don’t waitv in line as she continues to roll her eyes.

As I am not familiar with your process or location, I’ve every right to ask.

Suffice it to say every OTHER location in the area will now get our business.

Chicken salad is bland. It’s not bad, it’s just blah. Nothing special.
And they are SLOW
I was the first customer of the day and it took 15 minutes to get a chicken salad sandwich. It’s what they do. I didn’t order a pizza. 15 minutes seems excessive for ordering what’s on the menu. No special orders. Just a sandwich.

I had a terrible experience at this location. My order was to be ready at 2PM. I arrived on time and it had not been prepared yet, so I had to wait; counter staff had to tell the food preparers to make my order. What is the point of requesting a time slot!? The couple next to me asked if anyone worked there because they were not acknowledged within a reasonable amount of time. I was annoyed with the lackadaisical behavior of the staff. I finally received my order 8 – 10 minutes later… more to come. I wrote the store to let them know of my experience; if you don’t say anything nothing changes. What I received was an email from the store owner that time stamped my activity. Yes, I was being watched. What she saw on the tape was not what I experienced, and it creeped me out that she was specific with the timestamp of my arrival and departure. My phone showed me exiting at 2:10PM; worried I would be late for an appointment I checked my phone. The first lesson I learned when I worked in the food industry is that first impressions matter. How staff interacts with a guest determines whether or not they will return. Staff also needs to understand who pays them – customers! This experience left me with one thought… I will never return to this location.

Mother ordered lunch brings home and nothings on bread except blt. Upset too far to travel replace meal.
