Man I was really expecting more from this place and take this review with a grain of salt because all I got was a steak and cheese. I found it to be dry/cheap steak. The roll was fresh but overall I would never order this particular item from them again but I’m opening to editing this review if I have something better down the road.

Tonight, my Friday night spread was their mozzarella sticks with INSANE CHEESE PULL(yes, its a flex), crispy nostalgic chicken wings, and a chicken parm sub that would probably be tomorrow’s breakfast as well. They are perfect match with a nice cold spiked seltzer or beer. Get your homey Friday night spread at Angelina’s 🙂

I’m a 90s kid, and I grew up in a small town outside of Baltimore near a couple of pizza/sub shops. When I moved to Somerville, it was really hard for me to find some place that really brought me back to that nostalgic, exciting feeling of ordering takeout from the local spot. I tried Angelina’s and I finally found that spot for Somerville. When I eat their food, I am transported back to my childhood, watching a movie with my cousins. Highly highly recommend. Excellent quality, amazing service with friendly staff, and you get your money’s worth for the food. One thing that keeps me coming back is the french fries. They are always hot, crispy, and salted perfectly. I also recommend the pizza, delicious crust and sauce and topped perfectly. The subs are excellent, and it’s pretty awesome that you can get honey mustard as a topping. Maybe underrated, but even the salads here are great, especially the Caesar salad. This is the spot if you want comfort food!

I ordered a chicken parm sub. They didn’t remove the membrane from the chicken breast. They don’t know how to properly clean chicken breast before cooking it. It’s disgusting. I couldn’t even eat it. Don’t order the chicken parm from here.

Angelina’s is great. The staff is always friendly, pretty much everything on the menu is solid. Adding a picture of their chicken Caesar because it was delicious, totally exceeded expectations for what I consider to be primarily a sandwich joint. Angelina’s is a mainstay for a reason.

I’m not a review person, but I think I need to write a review here. I ordered through the Uber eats, and the delivery was pretty fast. Pizza and the chicken fingers were warm enough and both of them were outstanding. I believe I’m going to order again soon.
