I was in town for work and wanted to try something new. I found this spot on IG and decided to give a try. I order the catfish and shrimp plate that came with fries and macaroni. Everything was superb. The only thing was the service was slower, but they had a sign up explaining why. Definitely check this spot out if want some good food.

Last year my boyfriend and I pulled up to try their food after seeing it said open on Google maps. When we arrived, to our surprise it was closed. We were disappointed but this year we called ahead to verify they were open. I only mention this because if you’re an out of towner; you may wanna call to verify if they’re open before driving 20-30 minutes.
Upon entering you’re greeted warmly by the cashier. We ordered the soul food 3 fish piece meal. The only reason I rate it a 4/5 is because they didn’t have a side available an hour after opening. We wanted to try their yams but unfortunately they didn’t have any yet. They also didn’t have any desserts.
Our food took about 30 minutes or so to come out. You can tell they make to order! Our cat fish was perfectly seasoned. It also comes with their signature sauce that’s sweet / sour & spicy , delicious! It’s definitely a plate that can be shared between two as the serving sizes are generous. The cabbage was DELICIOUS, so soft and well seasoned. The Mac & cheese was simple but good.
The music playlist was fire! Super chill spot to enjoy your food.

I was super excited to find soul food for my vacation in Vegas and all the tik tok hype. I was highly disappointed. I’m from DC and with my carolina roots maybe my expectations were to high. The greens were average no flavor at all i saw meat in them but nothing else flavor or seasoning nope. Mac and cheese was much of the same no seasoning. The wings was good and fish crunchy. The best part of this experience was the waiter he was great.

Came here on a Saturday and the food is AMAZING! Very friendly and helpful with recommendations- the Arnold Palmer and the mixed Kool-Aid are must tries. Had the wings, fries and some shrimp- everything came out hot and perfect. This is definitely on my list for any trip to Vegas. Lots of parking but not a fast food place- the wait is reasonable and worth it!

First off I’m glad I finally tried the food! I’ve been seeing this restaurant on Tik Tok for over a year.
They were super friendly and welcoming. There was a wait for the food but it was worth it. The fried ribs were absolutely delicious! The yams with the mac and cheese were very good.
My disappointment came with the fish….it’s not real catfish. It’s definitely swai. It was seasoned down and fried nice and crispy but it wasn’t farm raised or wild caught. The greens were good, just needed a little salt and a pieceofcornbread. The black-eyed peas need love. They were under seasoned and served on top of minute rice.
I will definitely go back to try more of the menu.

I’m a midwestern probably spoiled by Chicago’s grand cuisines…The greens were okay. Macaroni and cheese was very average, nearing basic – to be considered soul food… the greatest dissatisfaction was the 4pc rib being fried… if I wanted a pork chop I would have went to find a pork chop. The batter was amazing though so the chicken is probably amazing. Tried them after Keith Lee’s review…

I felt welcomed as soon as we walked in! We didn’t wait for long to get our food $50 for 4 of us and right behind the strip! Fried fish, fries, shrimp po boy, pastrami po boy wonderful flavors and atmosphere. We will be back!

Sista Kim’s is absolutely phenomenal! You’re not going to find food like this anywhere else in Las Vegas. It really gives you that home-cooked, soul-food feeling—every bite is full of love and flavor.
The customer service is great, and you can tell they truly care about their customers. The new location has a different vibe from the last one, but in a good way—it’s fresh, welcoming, and still feels like home.
If you’re looking for real comfort food done right, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Came here Monday with my girlfriend and everything was phenomenal, got the catfish with the hot sauce and lemon pepper rub, with greens and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious, the hot sauce on the fish could’ve been covered a bit more, there were a couple of naked spots but the pieces are so big I can’t even blame them. Wait time wasn’t too long maybe like 15 minutes, and they even gave me and my girlfriend some complimentary waters while we were finishing up and were checking up on us consistently before that. Will be back for sure 100%.
