Great experience at the Tropical Smoothie West Bloomfield- Haggerty location today with the family. The food, of course, was great. But what stood out was their customer service. I needed to correct the order I put in(after the fact). They didn’t act irritated, they were downright cheerful about helping me get the right order together. The whole team (even the manager) was involved and it honestly seemed like they were just here having a good time. Later on, after we had the food, someone from the back even gave us a thumbs up-smile to check and see if we were okay. Amazing service, and the music playing was also epic.

My smoothie was absolutely delicious but the service was not great. The person that took my order was fine but the person that handed me the smoothie dropped the smoothie and straw on the counter while I clearly had my hand out. That’s so rude and I’ve worked years of customer service we were always taught to hand the items to the customer. Well Atleast when I did work customer service. I also overheard the female worker say she was just sick Saturday. Like we’re ordering food(smoothie). Save that for home.

TSC has consistent food quality amd good portions (unlike a lot of sandwich shops), quick service, and healthier choices than traditional drive-thru. Menu is a bit limited, I’d like a few more sandwich options. Smoothies are delicious, but I wish they’d offer a cheaper “sandwich and small smoothie” option, rather than the only meal including a large.

Ordered.smoothies and. When we picked them.up they were already melted. The worker thought it was normal and had no solution to keeping smoothies cold. Called the manager when we got home and realized how melted they really were and she had no answer for keeping cold drinks cold either. It must be their first day. She was very unapologetic nor offered any way to fix the problem in the future . I will go to the wixom location from now on. Do better

I walked in to place an order for a smoothie the place smelled like sewage. I ignored the smell and stood at the register waiting to place my order however 4 different employees walked by me, made eye contact, and never said “hello” “I’ll be right with you” nothing. I was just standing there for about 5 minutes before I decided to leave and spend my money somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this location and would give ZERO stars if I could. As for the management team you should hire more friendly people with customer service skills because whoever worked September 2nd before 3pm have horrible customer service and this is coming from someone who owns their own business.

Ordered smoothies and there were still lots of chunks of fruit that could not be slurped up through a straw. We order smoothies from here a lot and this happens from time to time, it is very disappointing that it happened today.

This has not been my experience every time but on 4/25/25 the 3 workers that was there were lacking common sense! I pre-ordered my smoothie to grab on the way to work. Ordered it @ 2 and it said it will be ready at 2:17. I get there, no smoothie. However, 2 customer’s are there waiting and getting their food cooked and smoothies made. Then 2 customer’s get their orders taken and she walks to the back to start theirs with the other 2 ladies. No greeting to me as I’m standing there & the other hands the 2 guys their smoothies and no greeting from her either. At this point I must be clear because nobody sees me. ♀️So I yell to the back and she comes foward and asks, “oh are you Demetria?” And I say, “yes I pre-ordered it should have been ready at 2:17.” She tells me she didn’t make it because I said no chocolate and they didn’t know if it was a mistake. Are you freaking kidding me?! What is the point of an app if you’re not going to honor it??? If I had mistakingly said no chocolate then that would be on me! My commute to work is 30 minutes long. My time is very valuable. DO BETTER!!!

worst tropical smoothie ever. every sip had ice chips to the point i had to chew even tho it’s a smoothie. the worst smoothie i ever had from here. never coming here ever again. the pictures below is what the bottom of my drink looked like. it was just mostly ice. it was barely blended and i could barely even get a sip.
