The ambiance was with a beautiful view of downtown and beautiful skies.
The service was great Michelle was our server.
The food my son loved the pancakes the eggs with bacon not so great. He shared that the bacon was part soft bordering raw.
My wife’s chilaquiles were cold and had a red can sauce taste She orderes the red chile. I sampled it myself and agreed low quality Mexican food.
My food was good . Side note the window view unfortunately included dogs pooping in front of window view. Overall enjoyed it but the restaurant needs better cooks.

Great location, super walkable area, there is a parking lot but you have to arrive early to find a good space. Service is good, attentive, and fast. It is faster if you reserve through open table. Food in general is good but I was a little dissapointed because I added chicken as extra and it was flavorless and not well cooked, but besided that the atmosphere is good, it is a great place to celebrate a birthday, the decoration is cute. But a little overpriced, my cup of coffe was $9.

Cocina 35 never disappoints. Had my birthday breakfast at Cocina 35 in Coronado. Super friendly and prompt service. The views of the San Diego Skyline are superb; the variety of delicious options makes it hard to just pick one. The Mimosa flight is delectable. The ambiance is cozy and personal. The complimentary little spoons with tangy Tamarindo paste at the end of your meal is a nice touch!
Restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch…closes at 2 pm.

We made reservations a month ahead of our visit to San Diego and met our friends who live on Coronado Island for breakfast. Our server was Ismael but he was assisted by many others. The food and drinks were outstanding and the service was on point. If you read my reviews you will know I call out both bad food and poor service. I only have positive comments about Cocina. Whatever you’re doing keep it up. Your service and guest staff are amazing.

Great location view is amazing and the food is great. My favorite are the Chipotle creamy chilaquiles. The service is fast but this place is super packed on the weekends so the tables do have a time limit. I recommend making a reservation unless you are ok with waiting around 1 hour to be seated.

Amazing view and spectacular staff! We’ve walked past often in the last year and finally went in. It is packed on the weekends so get a reservation. We walked in on a Monday without any issue.
Had both the traditional chilaquiles and the French toast plate. Big portions, sharing is an option. Mimosa flight is the way to go. Guava, mango, hibiscus and orange. All very tasty. Coffees are on point as well.
The view over the bay is unbeatable. The staff was friendly, conversational and efficient.
We will be back.

Anybody please tell me HOW NOT TO LOVE THIS PLACE .
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Every visit feels like coming home, they AWAYS accommodate me, treat me with genuine care, and make my experience unforgettable. The food is consistently delicious, but what truly sets this place apart is the people.
A huge SHOUTOUT to Janet, Aglael, and Isabel, 3 absolute stars who go above and beyond every time. Their kindness, attention to detail, and welcoming energy make all the difference. They don’t just offer great service; they create a beautiful experience.
If you’re looking for a place where you’re treated exceptionally well, this restaurant is it. Highly recommend! ❤️ ️

The best chilaquiles I’ve had in a long time. They had pan dolce for dessert which was amazing. We were a pretty big party and the staff was very accommodating. Will definitely come back to try something else off of the menu.

Cocina 35 is easily one of the best brunch spots in San Diego. The views of the bay from Coronado are incredible, and you get an amazing look at the San Diego downtown skyline. The food is outstanding. The hot cake is a must, and I highly recommend the cochinita pibil on the chilaquiles. The chocolate abuelita and the mocha were also super delicious. Everything was amazing and at a very reasonable price. It is the perfect combination, which is why the place gets packed. I highly recommend making a reservation.
