First time ordering from Lane’s. I called and they’re guy who answered was the owner. He was very friendly, nice and patient; answered all my questions. The pizza was good. Pizza sauce had a slight kick to it but it was good. Cinnamon sticks and cheese bread was good. Will definitely be returning as a customer.

I tried Lane’s Pizzeria for the first time tonight. Let me start off by saying the lady on the phone was very polite and helpful. I received my food, and they made me feel like I’ve been going there for years now. Big smiles on their faces and quick service. The atmosphere was warm and comfy. The food blew my mind! Full of flavor and the presentation was magnificent. This is by far way better than any big chain pizza places. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

Absolutely delicious pizza. I am so excited to have another local pizza place to frequent. The sauce was fresh with a great flavor. Talk about cheese. Most places skimp, but this place doesn’t. The crust is one of the best crusts I have had in a long time. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Also there was just the right about of crust. It didn’t take up half the pizza like some places. Plenty of room for delicious toppings. My only critique would be a few more toppings. I thought the mushrooms were a little scarce and I love fresh mushrooms. I will be back and try some more items. Plus we got free bread sticks with delivery which was great in my book. The person that took my order was friendly and efficient. Thanks for helping me with dinner tonight

Let me start by saying that we are a family that LOVES pizza. We have our favorites, but we are always looking to try something new.
So, I had heard great things about Lane’s Pizzeria in Maybee. I looked at reviews and all seemed good. I called ahead of time to make sure that they delivered to my address. They did, so all was good. I told them I would call back to order after I looked at the menu.
I proceed to their Facebook page. I see a post that they are offering BOGO on their pizza’s, BONUS! I begin to look for their menu. There was no menu on their Facebook page that I could locate. They also had links for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. I clicked all the links and still no menu. They also listed a website. Clicked on the website and got a message that the domain was suspended. So, somewhat irritated, I googled “Lane’s pizzeria menu Maybee.” I would like to add that I was on my desktop computer for all of this. Off to the right of the screen there is a box for Lane’s Pizza and a place to click for the menu. I clicked on this and was taken to a menu that was so small it was unreadable. I could not open a larger version and I could not zoom in. I have included a photo of what I saw. I finally found a readable menu on zmenu.com. It did not list anywhere when this menu was posted or updated. I looked over the menu and decided what we were going to order. At this point, I had a roundabout price in my head for the order, so I placed the call.
A woman answered the phone and I notified her that I wanted to place an order for delivery. I give her all of my information as it was my first time ordering from them. I told her what I wanted to order, and she told me the price. The price was higher than what I had calculated in my head. So, I asked her if she had taken the free pizza off. She got very snippy and said “Yes, that is with the discount!” I apologized, told her I wasn’t trying to be difficult, but based on the menu prices I was looking at, that price could not be correct. She again snapped at me telling me “You must be looking at an old menu!” She then proceeds to tell me angrily that she is the owner and begins rattling off the “correct” prices. I am trying to write these down, so I ask her to slow down. I again apologize telling her that in my head the “math ain’t mathin” and that I am just trying to verify that the price is correct. At this point she says “Do you just want to cancel your order?!? I have other lines that are ringing and other people I need to help.” I explained that I did not want to cancel the order, that I just needed a moment. I did end up placing the order, but I do not care how amazing the pizza might be, I will NEVER order from that place again. It’s clear the owner is terrible at customer service and that I certainly didn’t matter as a customer.
Update: We got our order and everything was just OK. Nothing spectacular, and certainly not worth undergoing verbal abuse. I feel much less disappointed that we won’t be ordering there again.

The Boss Connection
This has become one of our family’s favorite pizza places in all of monroe county. My wife has many allergies and they have a fantastic gluten free cauliflower pizza that she not only loves, but our children as well! Highly recommend!

The pizza was absolutely delicious. I ordered the kitchen sink special and had it baked well done to perfection. It was fantastic. The cheese bread is amazing and the best I’ve ever had. No need to settle for a chain restaurant when Lane’s Pizzeria is local and one of the very the best.

I just tried this Lane’s for the first time and was happy I did so. The place was decorated for Halloween , the staff were polite, and pizza was excellent. For a local place in a small town, the crust was particularly good. I shall return.

Lane’s pizzeria is awesome! We’ve ordered multiple times (sometimes even twice in the same week) and each time is just as delicious as the last. The owner and his staff are friendly and helpful. On top of everything else, the prices truly cannot be beat! If you’re looking for great food from a small town pizzeria, this is it! My family gives them two thumbs up!
