Horrible food and service. I tried giving this place a second chance after they cycled through all new staff and it’s still just as bad if not worse. I never leave bad reviews, but this is unacceptable. I’ve included photos of our food that we got at peak lunch time. In the cup we have “gravy” that I can only assume has been reheated several times. And in my basket I have uncooked chicken strips. Not to mention most of the food was ice cold and dry. The women who took our order was also very rude and shouldn’t be working in customer service. If anyone is reading this review and you really want Dairy Queen take the extra 30 minutes and drive to Belle Fourche. This was a horrible experience and beyond unacceptable!

Walked in to grab a quick bite (few days ago now) to a lady cocooned into a carhart style jacket hood up, gentleman leaning on the counter with the same look of annoyance. Neither made eye contact, neither said a word to me. As I was browsing the menu I asked if they had steak fingers, she annoyingly responded “yeah we’re privately owned we don’t have a lot of things” then rolled her eyes. As my husband was going to the bathroom I stepped to the side and said I’d wait for him to order. A pick up truck pulls up and the girl rolls her eyes for at least the 4th time since our arrival and says cool guess I won’t be getting a break today. I went and told my husband we aren’t spending our money here where we clearly aren’t welcome. With their attitudes and lack of care for anything going on around them I figured I didn’t trust them touching my food either. It’s a shame, this was our 4th time trying to give this place another chance. Won’t be making that mistake again. I get staffing is hard to come by but at some point you have to realize that the way your staff treat people is going to impact your sales and your business reputation.

I think you’re required to be incompetent to work here. They spilled half of a large blizzard on my car didn’t apologize then ran off because they got embarrassed. Then they couldn’t figure out how to use coupons and decided to up charge me at least a 2 dollars for each blizzard. The place is a mess every time and all the workers sit in the back in their phones rather than going to the register to help customers.

Wife and daughter walked over to get some snacks and were treated rudely. They were out of many items and my daughter noticed crumbs on at least one of the tables despite no one else being in the store.

I think this was probably some of the worst customer service ever. The lady literally rolled her eyes at me and shut the window mid sentence while I was talking… the food is tolerable but I feel like I’ve never had good service here

Well first the guy couldn’t hear us so we had to wait for the car I front of us and then we waited for the car in front of us and the guy apparently still couldn’t hear us because he got the order wrong. I got my chicken strips and they were lukewarm at best and tasted like they just came out of the microwave. I got the wrong size sundae my fries were soggy and warm like they’ve been sitting on the counter for half an hour. and I thought chicken strip baskets came with white gravy. I got absolutely zero white gravy, which was the only reason I wanted chicken strips. am a local and will not return well been home 30 minutes and had to edit my review because I threw it all up Thanks DQ spearfish

Well, it was a drive thru experience. First we had to repeat the order twice. Then at the window, the girl asked again what it was we had ordered. So told her, chicken strips, country gravy, salad, no tomatoes. After getting the order, had to come around again, and get a fork. Then discovered they had added tomatoes to the salad. And not sliced or small round ones. These ones were diced and took about 15 minutes to dissect out. Their cups of ranch were also half frozen, which led me to wonder about prep care. At least the country gravy was good. Fries were a lil stale.

Messed up my order, didn’t give a refund. We paid for more than we got. Told us to come back tomorrow but didn’t give us a receipt. The lady at the window was awkward with the whole situation. The manager wasn’t nice. Wouldn’t recommend going here.

This is actually a review of the Chuckwagon Dinner experience. It is a must do if visiting out in the Black Hills! We have done it 2 years in a row. Fun for the whole family!

I rarely leave a review but this place is awful. The “manager” is extremely rude and acts annoyed that she has to take your order. She is so busy irritated that she doesn’t even listen to the order. Going to stick to Culver’s from now on.
