Came here with friends and family and had an excellent experience! Our server, Lauren, was so sweet and accommodating especially for my family member with celiac and several food intolerances. Lauren took the time to go over the mocktail ingredients with her, and even brought her the bottle from the bar so she could review the ingredients herself. This was so appreciated and truly above and beyond! Our food was delicious! We got a verity of burgers, the sweet potato fries were so yummy and my husband enjoyed his old fashioned. We were so engaged in conversation that I forgot to take pictures of the food! But the burgers were cooked and seasoned perfectly, everything came out correct and pretty fast. Will definitely be back to try more options.

Recently had a Tinder date take me here and I really enjoyed myself (with Hangry Bison not the date).
The happy hour is a great deal and the flatbread I got was a great way to start things off. I also got The Herbivore (vegetarian) and although messy (the bun broke), it was really delicious and a lot of food. I also got a side salad and that hit the spot too.
So, to give you an idea of how much food it is: I’m a Chad: 6’2, over 200 pounds of muscle and awesomeness, and the Herbivore filled me up. I can’t remember what my date got, but she enjoyed her drinks and her burger. She gave me some of her fries in an attempt to win my favor and affection. They were prettry good tbh.
I’d definitely let another date take me here.

Had a team dinner at the Hangry Bison and this place was amazing. We had a huge table and made resy in advance so we were promptly seated. We ordered their bison burger with sweet potato fries, flat breads, veggie and chicken burgers, truffle fries and a lot of cocktails – old fashioned, wine, and whisky on the rocks. This place is amazing to have a good time. Food was great, service was good and the ambience is amazing. All in all we will come back every time we have plans to visit Lake Mary.

Last night I had the chance to experience this restaurant at this location for the first time. I ordered the Bleu Bison burger with sweet potato fries. This burger was delish! Cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. To drink their Hibiscus Spritz, if you like champagne you will love this beverage.
The server was great her name was Lauren and she was attentive and answered any questions that I had. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very rustic sheek, but still casual. I will definitely be back. That’s all.

This place really hits all the right notes! The service was consistently good, and the staff was attentive. They have a truly good collection of bourbon, and the Old Fashioned I had was simply excellent.
For food, the cheese curds and truffle fries are a must-try—they were great and prices felt reasonable. I appreciated the bright vibe and the great interior design. Plus, the outdoor seating is lovely. A great location and a must-visit for a drink and a bite!

It was our first time trying bison and the wonderful server gave us a recommendation regarding burger temps which worked out perfect.
Aside from the great tasting burger, the sides were really great too, particularly the cheese curds which were crispy and chewy at the same time.

We had lunch at The Hangry Bison in Lake Mary, and it was everything we hoped for and more. We kicked things off with their 4 Cheese flatbread, crust was crunchy and the cheese was delicious. For mains, my husband had the grilled chicken breast sandwich with sweet potato fries and I had the turkey burger with the chipotle mayo glaze. We were both very satisfied even though we did get Bison burgers the food was very flavorful.
But let’s talk about the real MVP: our server, Marisa. She was super friendly from the jump, cracking jokes about the quirky menu (love that circle-and-customize system!) and making us feel right at home. Attentive doesn’t even cover it – she anticipated our needs like a mind reader, refilling drinks before we noticed they were low and offering spot-on recs without any pushiness. In a world where service can be hit-or-miss, Marisa turned our meal into a highlight of the trip. Hangry Bison, do everything to keep her around!

We were excited to try the new Hangry Bison in Lake Mary, but unfortunately, our visit was a disappointment from start to finish.
Atmosphere:
When we walked in, the vibe wasn’t warm or welcoming. It felt more like a school cafeteria than a restaurant. The corner where we were seated had dirty, scuffed walls, through overall the place looked clean. The bar in the middle of the restaurant looked promising, so we were looking forward to good drinks – sadly, that didn’t happen.
Drinks:
The cocktails were flat, watered down, and piled high with crushed ice. For. Place with such an extensive bar, this was a huge letdown.
Service:
Our waitress was the bright spot of the hour. She was kind, attentive, and quick to apologize when she forgot our appetizer. She had it out within 5 minutes, and she did everything she could to make up for it.
Food:
Fried Green Tomatoes: These were the biggest disappointment. They were completely unseasoned, coated in a thick layer of breadcrumbs, and then deep fried until soggy. Wet, bland, and flavorless – nothing like what fried green tomatoes should be.
Bison Burger (ordered well-done):
Came out medium-well, with no seasoning and no flavor.
Turkey Burger:
Just as bad – dry bland, and forgettable, like ingredients stacked on a bun without effort. Had to believe these are $16-$18 each.
Mac & Cheese (off-menu):
Highly recommended, but it was literally pasta drowned in a heavy Velveeta sauce.
Value:
Our bill came to $75 for two burgers, an appetizer, drinks and a side. For food this bland and an atmosphere that misses the mark, it simply wasn’t worth it.
Management:
The manager stopped y to check on us. When were shared feedback, she admitted she heard the same feedback from others. She kindly offered a discount, but we declined – we believe the staff still deserved to be paid, and our server was great.
Bottom Line:
Great services, but terrible food and drinks. $75 for soggy fried green tomatoes, bland burgers, Velveeta Mac, and watered-down cocktails in a cafeteria-like setting is not something we’d do again. Sadly, we wont’ be returning.

We ate here during the first opening weekend. Service was good, food came out very fast, and food was delicious. The kids meals are good size and they have adequate options for them. The build your own burgers has an almost endless amount of options. We both went with the bison burgers and were very happy with the choice. If I had to find any negative it would be that it was cold, but we were seated right below an air vent, and a bit loud. Overall, we had a great dinner and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended.
