I ordered two platter specials (one Pollo Guisado and one Pernil). They were both seasoned well, but the chicken was slightly dry. The Tres Leche was good. This is a small location that is decorated nicely and very clean.

The food is extremely delicious and the customer service is awesome. They have room for seating for four people but they also have another location that has more seating for bigger families and so fourth, if that’s what your looking for. But overall amazing hispanic spot with fair prices.

Driving to a meeting and a PR flag caught my eye…circled the block twice looking for a parking spot…I’m so glad I followed my gut this place served me up an El Borica Sandwich and it did not disappoint! The meat was so tender and full of flavor. This spot has the most authentic Puerto Rican food that I’ve come across in Philly!!! If you are in the neighborhood definitely pay them a visit! The place was clean and the staff was super friendly and my food was hot and so fresh! See you guys soon!

Deeeeelicious new Puerto Rican place near northern liberties/fishtown. We got the pernil (roast pulled pork) platter with rice and potato salad and the Mofongo (plantain-based starch) with Chicken. And it’s delicious and plentiful. The food is flavorful and seasoned just right. They were real nice. And I love the little flags lol. Will definitely be coming back.

The atmosphere is so friendly and clean. I love how welcoming the staff is and they were so attentive. The rice, potato salad, and macaroni salad had tons of flavor. The rice especially was rich in flavor hands down recommend this hole in the wall. They also have a souvenir wall and even sell coquito.

This food was decent… It was very salty though. I’ve had better Spanish food up the street in the hood that’s cheaper, that being said I will definitely come back to try again because of the great customer service and friendly atmosphere.

I was so happy to find a puerto rican restaurant in this area. I recently moved here, and I was apprehensive this place would not deliver, but to my delight, their food was delicious. Tiny location it is mainly used for take-out, no real place to sit. My recommendation is that instead of them selling souvenirs, they should sell small grocery items like coffee and traditional candies.

Pernil was dry. Rice was flavored but too loose for my like. Yuca alcapurrias was good. Will eat it again. Not alot to pick from in the menue. Service very nice, very clean fresh look and comfortable.

Super friendly counter person. I ordered take out used a QR code for the menu. Price per portion was a bit more heafty but I understood based on current food prices. I got the pork which was a little salty, the rice and beans and the macaroni salad were great though. Very busy place with customers who raved about it so aside from my slightly salty pork it was a great experience
