Hattiesburg is home for me. I moved away in 2003 but i always come back for a visit. It’s always good to come home and know that some things never change… for the better. The food was just as good as I remembered it to be. The root beer was impeccable. The service was great and I enjoyed coming home to what I’ve been missing and not be let down or disappointed.

If your looking to get some Wards in Mississippi and your around this one, I will warn you this is the best location in the state. Breakfast is absolutely amazing and the lunch is wonderful. I lived in this area for years, moved some time ago, but had to travel through Hattiesburg recently and it hasn’t changed a bit in 10 years.

We had a great experience at Ward’s (717 Bartur in Hattiesburg, MS) today. Even though my order was not correct, they accepted responsibility and took care of it cheerfully. All of the employees, from the cashier to the service line workers were very nice & positive to deal with. Even the employees I didn’t have the opportunity to interact with seemed pleasing and happy to be at work. It was refreshing to have this experience at a time when it’s difficult to find good help in this industry.

The food was good. Unfortunately they seem to be having staffing issues so there was only one person running the entire front end so it took a little bit to receive my food. But she was in good spirits and capable of doing the job. Overall positive experience.
