I had the Korean fried chicken bene. Looks spicy from the photos but it’s more tangy than spicy. Chicken was tender and well sauced. Eggs were perfect and the Benedict sauce finished the dish nicely. Potatoes we extra crispy (as I requested) and were a perfect texture but they weren’t very well seasoned. I had plenty of food on my plate so I mostly ignored the potatoes.
The matcha drinks were my friends so I can’t comment on those but they sure were pretty!
Had a bite of my friend’s chicken and waffles. Again, chicken was cooked well and the waffle was light and crispy!
Service: My friend arrived a bit before opening and we showed just after 10. They were able to seat us immediately, which was great because although it was Monday, it was also a holiday. When we left, I noticed the line was much longer and ppl were also waiting outside.
Once inside, they took our order pretty quick and the food was delivered promptly.
Atmosphere: cute spot, tables were well spaced…
Will be back!
The coffee: extremely POWERFUL im a coffee girly but wow it was strong, good but strong so I added some creamer to help haha.
Seating: place slightly crowded but im assuming it’s because the food is good
On a gray day in the city why not some comfort food and here I was ordering their K- bomb chicken sandwich.
I can’t say I liked it and I can’t say I didn’t like it. The first few bites were intriguing and different but as I worked myself through the sandwich, the sauce becomes overwhelming and smothers everything else. The fries were crisp and nice and so was the overall experience and service.
I do think that this sandwich has potential, I would reduce the amount of sauce and add a flavor to offset the k-bomb flavors.
Drinks are also cool.
Environment inside was also nice.
For dishes, we tried Pacific Sunrise, K-Bomb Benny, K-Bomb Chicken Sandwich, Chicken & Waffle, Mascarpone Pancake (delicious ) and French Toast Crème Brûlée.
Drinks that we tried: Volcano Coffee, Butterfly Lychee, Mocha Lava, Matcha Strawberry and Matcha Latte all delicious.
Definitely recommend this brunch place for a try!
SN: they have cute kids plates!
The coffee was also very tasty, and the service was FAST and friendly. Will be bringing my friends back soon!
