The atmosphere was incredible. You see it from the road and think “I wanna stop there.” It’s a great dining experience. The food was delicious and a nice difference from what I’m used to.
The homade bbq sauce was delicious drizzled over the meat and the sandwiches were great too. Definitely a great place to stop if you’re ever nearby.

We came here on a Saturday upon the recommendation of a local patron. We weren’t disappointed. The simple BBQ shack offers walk up ordering and calls out you number when the order is ready. They serve traditional Virginia pulled pork BBQ and BBQ ribs, along with chicken wings, hot dogs and an assortment of traditional sides. We opted for BBP pulled pork sandwich combos, which came with fries and a drink. The sauce is provided on the side, in case you are not a fan of the vinegar-based sauce. While I don’t mind the vinegar sauce, I must say that the pulled pork was plenty flavorful and juicy just by itself. It was some of the finest pulled pork I have ever tasted. The portions on the bun were enormous, and the portion of fries was very generous. Seating is outside, with some shade trees providing respite in the heat of the summer. That’s my only wish, that there was some A/C!

A little tucked away BBQ gem! Anyone that has seen my posts about BBQ, I’m very picky about my BBQ. You can smell their BBQ literally as you sit at the light to turn onto their road. I had their BBQ sandwich AND ordered a 1/2 lb to go! There was nothing about the sandwich that didn’t scream “I’m Real BBQ!” The smoked flavor was all penetrating but never overpowering. True BBQ stands on its own without sauces and coleslaw. This BBQ you could serve by itself on a plate and just eat it with a fork. Great place and one that I’ll go back to again and again! I love the setting – beautifully done. I wish the person who took the order was friendlier and more helpful, but other staff were great. The food was off the charts good. As a fellow BBQer, I usually don’t prefer BBQ unless it’s my own, but Corner Market was terrific and reminded me of my BBQ. Probably the best I’ve had at a restaurant and I’ve tried BBQ from many many restaurants. The collard greens were absolutely fantastic as was the cornbread. I could eat their greens every day every meal. Cheese fries were also great and they provided plenty of cheese sauce. Wings were good as well. The only knock on the food is they give you very little sauce with the wings. They need to fix that; otherwise, I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu with the family.

Go for the home made chips! They’re delicious! This was an awesome place for a quick meal. I loved the atmosphere, the music, the food, and everyone was very nice.
I added a bottle of the vinegar bbq sauce to go and marinated a pork tenderloin overnight with it. Came out delish.
