The FOURTH location of Pizzeria Luigi landed in Ocean Beach in 2021. We serve New York Style pizza, calzones, salads and other delicious items. We have beer and wine, and at the OB location, we have a full liquor license. A couple hundred yards from the beach, Pizzeria Luigi OB is the perfect place to post up and people watch after a nice long day at the beach.

Went 2 nights in a row… never sober and never before 9pm. Slapped. Interesting crew of customers pass through, adding to the vibe. There’s window seating for people watching. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Slices couldddd be a little bigger but overall came out nice and crisp. Tasted bonkers would recommend!

Tried Pizzeria Luigi in San Diego and it was a solid experience. The pizza was crispy and flavorful – I had one slice with fresh tomatoes and basil, and another with chicken and cheese. Both were really good, and I liked the variety they offer.
The service was also great – the girl at the counter was very polite and welcoming with a smile, which made the visit even better. The casual street-side seating with a drink made it a nice spot to relax.
Overall, I’d give them 8.5/10. A very good pizza spot that’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Such a great little local joint…with pizza! That Detroit style pepperoni and honey…YOWZER! The staff is always super cool here and they have a great method of service. Real cool to sit back and watch. Every time I’ve eaten here I’ve had great conversations and usually get to pet !

So it’s rough at the edges
But I love it !
The dough and crust is just right
And the sauce is perfect to my option.
But the real show stopper is the “pan pizza” or grams slice they offer as a special
And they don’t have it all the time
But if you see it on the top counter waiting to be eaten
Do not think twice
And grab what ever you can handle because it is sublime !!!

This is the second lactation,and it’s in a wonderful location by the beach which offers pizza by the slice with a full bar ,you can also bring your fur babies . excellent staff with great service and attitude , bring your appetite because the pizza is nice and crispy with fresh toppings , this is one of my top five of pizza places in San Diego. I have to try. You can take your pizza to the beach with wonderful views ,oh they also have wings, there ok ,buy pizza is way better

My pizza was not edible. The oven they use to reheat the pizza smells awful. My slices smelled like charcoal and not in a good way. The oven looked burnt and nasty. I threw my pizza in the trash. The crust was burnt and soggy in the middle. Just gross!!!

This place delivers the Absolutely Perfect New York slice and is open late. Pizza by the slice is genius because you can get every flavor you want and that we did. We also got the square slice, but truly the gold is in their slices in the case. They have all the hits and some really great flavor combos at an affordable price.
