All I can say, this is the first time I got barbecue outside of my house, because most of the time it’s either too much sauce, or smoked. But this barbecue right here. Jesus I can’t wait to go back. I normally take pictures of my food but when I opened that box after my husband brought it home I forgot. All I can say is run don’t walk! Thank you Big Mo! You the man.

We gave it a try on day 1. Ribs and rib tips are very good. Love the crust and bbq sauce. The baked beans are really good. Looking forward to trying the banana pudding in the future. Support your local, small businesses ❤️

Truly enjoyed the food at Big Mo’s. The pulled pork along with the house made beans and potato salad was delicious. Even more enjoyable was the hospitality Big Mo showed me with great conversation and service. I’d highly recommend you give his food a try. I’ll certainly be back!

Mo is incredibly friendly and is a barbeque WIZARD. Him and his wife are living the American dream. You 100% cannot go wrong with this restaurant. Would recommend to anybody.

We loved this place for exactly what it is, BBQ. The menu is simple and understated. The place isn’t pretending to be something that it’s not. The atmosphere is simple and lends toward Carry out but they do offer a small inside dining area and an outside table. The lady and I assum Mo that were there were friendly and efficient in taking the order and preparing the food. We decided to get a rib tip sandwich and a sausage link. We came later in lunch service so offerings were limited. The lunch came with a sandwich which was more than a sandwich, it was loaded. The sausage came on a piece of white bread and both were consumed with a fork. The cause was semi sweet and simple. It did taste different on the rib tips as I believe it was basted on and cooked on versus the sausage link where it was brushed on before serving. We were limited to baked beans as a side and they were simple and tasty. Again, this place isn’t trying to win any awards, just serving up good “backyard” style BBQ. We will definitely be back. My advice would be to get there early as many of the times were sold out.

Every local shop should be given a chance, and I 100% support local business when whenever possible. With that said, I was intrigued to try the new BBQ shop in Saint Charles. Sadly, for me this was not a good experience or what I expected for a just under 40 dollar meal. I will not go into details, but a strong focus for any new business is to start with providing tremendous value to the new customer base in the form of value for the dollar. In a restaurant that has a direct correlation to the volume and the presentation of food provided. The food provided was effectively enough for a 1 person, but at the price of what you would feed 2 people for in any of the local competitors.
I wish the owner 100% sucess in the future but would strongly advise a much more generous offering.
Also noted, the location is very suitable for easy take out, but I would not advise dining inside on hotter days and for those that need a comfortable chair.
