The serving sizes for both the pakora and the korma were generous. However , the veg korma was very oily. It had a film of oil on top and I ordered the medium spice and it was spicier than expected. The oily top was very off putting and even when I stirred it up it was still unpleasant. I actually didn’t even finish the meal. The rice was good. Just plain rice. It came with a sweet sauce and a spicy cilantro sauce.
The prices were affordable, but I personally wouldn’t recommend the veg korma, I have had way better at other restaurants.
The service was quick , the servers were generally kind. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quaint and small- good for a first date. And almost silent. No music .
The only slight downside was the rice; instead of the dry, fluffy Basmati I’m used to, it was more moist and sticky—more like Asian-style rice. We really enjoyed the onion samosas, and the Naan was excellent. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. My daughter was excited about dessert, and we were given a menu to choose from. However, unfortunately, they didn’t come to take our order, and after about 10 minutes, we received the check instead. That was a bit disappointing, especially since my mother had been hoping for more. Still, it was an okay experience, and while I might not rush back, I appreciate the lovely atmosphere and friendly service.
I tried the Ambur Goat Biryani, which was okay, and the Madras Coffee, which was nice (though not exactly like authentic Madras coffee, still enjoyable).
However, the Schezwan Chicken Noodles didn’t meet my expectations. The noodles felt overcooked and tasted more like egg noodles than hakka, and the masalas had a bit of a raw flavor.
Overall, it’s a clean place with great staff and good service. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but not too bad.
The food was absolutely spectacular—every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The chicken, lamb, and shrimp were creamy and rich with tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat.
The garlic naan was fluffy and perfectly charred.
Service was exceptional—our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and helped us to choose from the extensive selection.
What really stood out was the authenticity and quality—you could taste that everything was made fresh to order with traditional recipes.
The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive.
The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with beautiful Indian decor that added to the overall experience.
The combination of authentic flavors, excellent service, and warm hospitality makes this a must-visit restaurant.
