This place is tucked away is some tiny strip mall well off any main drag, but dont pass this place up. Its absolutely worth a visit.
Place is bright and open, clean and inviting. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful.
Started with 2 types of spring rolls (shrimp and shrimp & porkbelly) which was very tasty and ample peanut dipping sauce. I didnt get a lot of the porkbelly taste but would prefer just all shrimp.
Ordered their fried wings (3 drummettes and 3 flats) which though small was nicely fried to a crunch but not greasy. Very tasty in chili pepper lemongrass sauce.
Their bahn mi ribeye steak was some of the best I have tried. They put enough meat and toppings that you can taste all the flavors on a soft yet crisp french style baguette.
Lastly, their pho soup with noodles, ribeye, shrimp and boiled egg was excellent!! Their broth was some of the tastiest I have had and really can taste the star anise.
Icing on the cake?? 20% off on Wednesdays!!! Boo-yah!!!

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Illinois! Their food (NOT just pho) is amazing and delicious! We ordered many different kinds of food but they were so good we finished them all before taking photos.. It took us 50 minutes to get here but we will definitely come back soon!!! This place NEVER disappoints me! We love here!

Love this Vietnamese restaurant in Carol Stream (NW Chicago Suburb). I’ve tried their vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and egg rolls as well as their combination Pho. Both very good. Make sure you check their daily specials as they are a really good deal. Friendly and quick service. Easy parking. Highly recommended!

Crazy tasty!! Stopped in for lunch, and had hands-down the best pho that I’ve ever tasted. Perfect for a blustery day like today! We shared spring rolls and my husband enjoyed the spicy beef noodle soup. The owner’s house-made chili oil is also amazing. That sounds like a small thing, but it’s indicative of their attention to every detail. Super-friendly, Wonderful family-run place!!

Came here with some co workers during our 1 hour lunch. We were able to come in ,order, eat and be out within the same hour. The restaurant was very clean and chic . Food was delicious and they had great portions. Highly recommend.

The pictures don’t tell you how delicious this food is. I went for Mother’s Day after seeing the pictures but what I ate was so delicious. My whole family has pegged this place as a regular spot. It’s a mom and pop with fresh foods that they cook and eat as a family. The owner speaks to you and is down to Earth. My 7 year old who struggles at dinner was quiet for 95%of this meal. She had the steak Pho from the kids menu. We also ordered specialty drinks. She spoke to ask for bread and stood only after being so full she was ready to leave. The broth is cooked for hours. So delicious. We had the family style seafood for 4 adults. My son has nut allergies so he couldn’t eat two items.

We tried this spot for the first time, and it hit the spot! The service was quick and the owner was very accommodating. As for the food, not only were they served almost right away, but everything we had was delicious! We had the shrimp & pork spring rolls and fried soft-shell crabs—both must haves! I had the special combo pho for my entrée and I tore that UP! Their milk tea drinks were also delectable and just the right sweetness. We can’t wait to come back soon and try other dishes!

A very unknown place that stays open later than most pho places in the area on Sundays. Great family run establishment more focused on quality and service rather than numbers thru the doors. Owner doesn’t advertise much but if your in the area or out of the area ready for some delicious food and great service. Keep small businesses going. Show your support to these guys!!! Love the extensive menu items and fresh plates served with smiling faces!!! Congratulations Tasty House for being you!!!
