I overheard her mention that she was behind on drinks, which was understandable given how busy it was. Even with all that stress, she still made a conscious effort to smile and thank every customer who showed her kindness. That kind of grace under pressure says so much about her character. She truly had the sweetest smile, even when it must have felt hard to keep going.
I paid in person instead of mobile ordering like I usually do, so I wasn’t able to complete the customer survey, but I sincerely hope she gets recognized for her dedication and hard work. As someone who has worked in retail and customer service, I know firsthand how overwhelming and emotional shifts like that can be. Being short-staffed and still expected to perform at your best is no small task. I just want her to know that her effort did not go unnoticed. Keep your head up — you’re doing an amazing job, and that beautiful smile makes a difference, even on the hardest days.
This felt really unfair, because customers like us waited patiently and still there was no stock left once we were allowed in. I understand that employees may also want to buy items, but the schedule and customer line should be respected. Purchases like this should be transparent and fair to everyone.
I hope management addresses this issue, so there are no favoritism or early purchases by staff before the store opens to the public.
It’s super expensive to get this garbage of a drink
