We visited on a Friday in September. It wasn’t too busy and we got a seat at the bar. I haven’t been here for several years, and they no longer have the Love drink with rum and Pom which was disappointing. We ordered guacamole and chips, shrimp tacos, and tamales. They charge an extra $4.75 for Mexican rice which is pretty tasteless and not that great. I wouldn’t order it again. Everything else was good, nothing spectacular but good. The shrimp were tasty.

This place was absolutely amazing! The margaritas were delicious. The tacos and garlic asparagus, coucous were unbelievable! This may have been a once in a lifetime experience due to passing through but highly recommended! Would hands down return if the opportunity arises!

My favorite Mexican place in the area, hands down. I almost don’t even want to give such a good review because I seriously don’t want other people to know about this place. The Mexican menu is limited so don’t expected 100 different options. That’s not the point of this place. It’s quality over quantity. The margaritas are great too. Good beer selection.

Cromwell’s is an interesting place. It’s a Mexican Taqueria that resides it what looks like it should be a 19th century English Pub. The drinks vary depending on what you get. I had the house Old Fashioned which was average, but I also had the spiced pear mule which was excellent. The service is great. Even though it doesn’t quite make 5 stars, it is an interesting place and worth a visit.

Always a good time at Cromwell’s! My favorite dish is the huaraches with the salsa de arbol (very spicy and flavorful). It has a cozy feel perfect for any special occasion.

965th different cheesesteak in the last four years. Guest Eater Amigo Dan. It was a good’ish restaurant cheesesteak but I was expecting a lot better from Cromwell’s and Greenville, DE. Dupont heirs live in the neighborhood. Good more dinner roll than a traditional roll. The meat was decent but dry in spots. It needed more cheese. They didn’t kill you with a price of $12.95 (especially in Greenville). It does come with good french fries. I guess they were understaffed with only 2 people serving.

I’m so glad this place is closing. They were absolutely horrible to me and my roommates years ago. She had ordered the fish. It came and she took one bite and didn’t like. She picked around the plate at the rice but didn’t eat the protein. When the waitress FINALLY came back my friend said something and the waitress went to the back. When she came back she said well since you ate half of the fish we are still charging you half. My friend said I had one bite of the fish. The waitress asked us why didn’t we inform her when she came back to check on us and we kept saying you never came back to our table and she kept saying yes I did. More or less calling us liars. I know she didn’t bc my glass sat empty my entire meal and I was never able to ask for a refill.

This place needs some sort of “we’re open” signage from the glass front; hard to tell there’s even a bar/restaurant even there. We had appetizers and drinks, no complaints, and I enjoyed the crab and pita.

After ordering drinks we waited to order food and eventually flagged her down. She ” didn’t realize we wanted food”

Came again this past week, maybe it was busier than it seemed but we waited a looooooong time for our check which only came because I got up and told her as she was leaving another table.
I don’t typically leave “bad” reviews but the fact that the service was lacking both times it seemed worth mentioning
