Friendly host. Fast delivery of food. The kitchen does need to look closer at what they are putting on your plate though, as my shredded pork had a couple large inedible parts and brisket was chopped with a lot of fat in it. Good flavor though and decent sauce. They have sweet or unsweetened tea and do walk around when they have time, giving refills. Also quite a bit of food quantity even though you are paying airport prices.

Food was good, but warm, not hot. Had chopped brisket, okra and pinto beans. The brisket was tender and flavorful, the okra was good, but the pinto beans were more like tomato and onion broth with a few beans tossed in. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese taco and a potato and egg taco. When I opened them, the eggs didn’t look fresh and were discolored, so I brought them back. The staff apologized, offered to remake the items, and issued a full refund, which I appreciated. I declined the replacement.

I stopped in at the SA AirPort Terminal A location last week on my way to Dallas. I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich and fried okra side. The fried okra was the best part of the meal. Hot, crispy and a nice sized portion. The brisket was cold and chewy, and the bun was hard and cold. I ate all the okra and left most of the sandwich. I’m disappointed that the quality of the food doesn’t live up to the original location, which has always been terrific. In a bright note, the service was quick and friendly.

If you didn’t get enough bbq on your trip to San antonio, it definitely hits the spot. Great to have a bbq place in the airport and for airport food, this was great. For bbq, I’ve had better but not in an airport!

Every time that I go to the airport, I always hit up this place. They have amazing food and service. I always try to aim to get my bartender kayla!! She’s super knowledgeable with the menu and the drink drinks and does a great job at serving and a great personality 10/10 recommend!

We have never been here before. Kathryn showed us how to order then brought us our coffee. Really nice. Felt like the food was a good value especially being in the airport. It looks like you can get beer and mixed drinks too. We had coffee and it was good.Nothing fancy. Breakfast tacos were hot and fresh and plenty of filling. Q came and cleared the trash and brought us a bag for the tacos we couldnt eat. Recommend!

Alexandria R. provided great service. I was in a wheelchair and she promptly found me a table and moved the chair for me and took my order. Another server brought my food who also provided great service. When ready to check out Alexandria kept a close watch and quickly helped me close out to catch my flight. Awesome food and fast friendly service. Kids meals are spot on and brisket is on point!
