I could swear when l originally looked this place up they served the original Tarantini Panzarotti. They don’t. It’s larger than the “original”, it’s tasty, but it’s not as good as the original. It’s kind of shaped like a crescent moon, and the seem broke apart while eating it (pictured). Was it worth $6.80 – yes. Would l go back – probably not.

My husband and I have always had delicious pizza and cannolis from here! The pizza made fresh is the best in Philly (in our opinions) and the cannolis, although pricey, are always very good. This is the only place to have a pistachio shell with pistachio filling –yum!! I see what people are saying about a specific counter person, but aside from her, the place is really good with great cooks. The other counter people are kind and go out of their way for us! I would definitely recommend.

I lived in the area my entire life. The pizza has become even better than it was previous years. J & J probably has the best all around food imo. The chicken Caesar salad is one my favorites. The owner has the employees clean the store from top to bottom every single day. I don’t trust eating out from many places. If you’re new to the area and don’t want to be disappointed and ripped off. Give J & J a shot. Literally everything is good there, even the pasta.

We had a wonderful experience at J&J Pizza today. Took a day trip up from southern Virginia to try the famous cheesesteaks just down the street. We spotted this gem and decided to try a slice and WOW! I brought a whole pizza home with us. The prices are very very reasonable. All of us enjoyed the crust, the sauce was just right, cooked to perfection. I don’t understand the hate towards the cashier, she was as nice as could be to us! I have a feeling we’ll be back in your city one day and we will DEFINITELY be coming back in if we’re able to!

2 charge someone$10 for 2 slice is crazy especially when it’s plain and they sell small plain is for 10 pizza never again don’t waste order money or time ordering a slice I would return it but it won’t change the tast

Place isn’t nearly as good as it used to be. Slices are ok. Buy the way… owners are cheep as ever. They should know better being in the hospitality business!!

I guess when you are a block away from Pat’s and Geno’s Pizza should be your thing. The pizzas did looking amazing. It was very hard not to get the cheesesteak Pizza. I had the Royal cheesesteak which came with plenty of extras. The extras were good but I’m sure they are much better on a pizza. $9.50, plenty of tables and a bathroom, I am not going to complain. Well maybe I’ll complain in private. Good cheesesteak. Very good overall experience.
