Me and my wife came here on Valentine’s day. Our waitress, Nora, was a very very nice person. She made sure that we were good throughout our whole meal and she was also making jokes and she honestly made our night! Even though it was very busy, Nora made sure she was still attentive to us and her other customers! We will be coming back and requesting her:)

Newer to the area and decided to give it a try. This is one of the better places I’ve eaten at in the area. Given the vast number of pubs, grills, and bar food options, this was a nice change. Sushi rolls were flavorful and perfectly presented. Hibachi was well seasoned. Meat options were cooked as ordered and tender. Noodles were also flavorful. Appetizer sampler was a nice variety with no complaints. Beers were cold as well. On top of the delicious food, the service was attentive and pleasant.

Ate here only one time but meal was excellent and will certainly be back. Staff was super friendly a d the place was busy at the time. Clinton is lucky to have a place like this. Highly recommend.

One of my go-to spots when I’m in Clinton, the sushi is always nice and the hibachi hot. This time I had the mermaid roll and steak hibachi. The service was fast and responsive, the wait from order to table was less than 10 minutes. The price was on par for the higher end establishment that Fujiyama is! The interior is decorated nicely and has a calming vibe.

This is one of the few decent places to get sushi in the area unless you head to the Quad Cities! I come here a couple times a month and the food is always spectacular, but the service has seemed to take a hit since the pandemic. For those of you who frequent this place, you’ll come to know and love the server Seth. He is outstanding. He’s very fast and charismatic. My go-to’s here are the Godzilla Roll and the chicken fried rice, but the hibachi dinners are always a good choice. My wife swears by the Hawaiian Roll, it’s not my favorite but it’s definitely refreshing. Entrees come with a french onion soup and salad. Unfortunately the salad dressing options are limited to ranch and a house ginger. Absolutely check this out if you’ve never been before, you won’t regret it!

The parking is plentiful and convenient. Fujiyama is handicap accessible as long as you have someone to open the door if you are using mobility aids.
The restaurant has tables and booths all around the restaurant. The place appeared clean and easy to navigate.
Our server was stretched pretty thin and appeared to struggle a bit keeping up.
The quality of the dishes we ordered was varied in taste, some good and some just ok. Our meals came with soup and salad, the soup was like water with some onions in it, no real flavor, the salad consisted of lettuce with dressing, the iceberg lettuce was very cold and crisp which was nice. The steak was over cooked but the taste was good and the chicken needed some kind of seasons or sauce. The noodles were good but the fried rice was very bland, the chicken fried rice was just rice and a couple pieces of chicken so it was bland also. The appetizer we oregon was the QQ and it was good.
The prices were average for most Japanese restaurants.

They have upgraded the interior so much within the last year! The food and service was great as always. They do gluten free plates and they’re delicious. 10/10 recommend

Lovely atmosphere and prompt service. Generous portions. We ordered the seafood plate and Fujiyama steak, scallops and lobster with appetizers of won tons and edamame. The edamame was perfectly steamed but would benefit from garlic butter. The steak came in bite-sized pieces and was tasty. The lobster was a bit overcooked and the scallops
a bit undercooked and all had the same teriyaki-like sauce. Skip the fried rice as it is tasteless. We took home enough for another whole meal. The seafood platter had well cooked scallops and overcooked shrimp and salmon. We came at about 5 pm and the place was almost empty but started to fill up within an hour.

Loved the rolls. I swore off cream cheese in rolls years ago but the eel and cream cheese paired nicely. I would have preferred more lemon peel on the lemon. I highly recommend the deep fried avocado too. And loved the carnation for a January birthday. ❤️
