I loved it! Great steak. Perfectly seasoned. Nice variety in the buffet style part. The hostess walked us through it when we came in because it was our first time. It’s pay by weight so it’s like a way cheaper alternative to going to Fogo but just as good! It was clean and organized in here. You can see the buffet line from both sides and they allowed us to choose our own preferred seating.

I can never eat enough to make other Brazilian Steakhouses worth it for me. We paid less than the cost of one person at the chain restaurant, Fogo, but had a whole meal and beer and it was exactly what I would have gotten there; if not better. My date ordered A TON of food but I only had a light dinner because I am on a diet and it was absolutely perfect for us!
I already cannot wait to come back! It’s a way better alternative for me to get perfectly done Brazilian Steakhouse meal for way less than half the price (I think my portion of the meal ended up being like the cheapest meal I’ve had out in a long time) This is probably the best place to go when you’re on a diet because you can portion control exactly what you need while not forcing your significant other to eat like you want to.

I had a good experience at Minas Café. The place is clean, organized, and they offer a great variety of Brazilian products and food. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere reminded me a lot of Brazil, which is always nice.

The only point I would mention is that I waited in the meat line for more than 10 minutes, which was a bit longer than expected. Other than that, everything was good and the quality of the products seemed great.

Overall, it’s a nice place to shop for Brazilian items and I would definitely come back.

1st time here. No one to greet you when you enter. They don’t explain how their system works as far as the buffet and the grill, I had to ask them. Service was depressing and felt like they just wanted to go home. The grilled meats tasted good but was more on the saltier side.

The only restaurant I’ve been coming to consistently for the past two years. The meat is perfectly seasoned and the yucca fries are amazing.

Casual dining almost buffet style but u pay by the pound. They have 2 tables 1 cold with pastas salad veggies sauces and a warm with rice pasta beans veggies potatoes then there is a grill station right before u weight your food. All different types of meats you choose by the peice or slice (depending on the meat).
The sides were ok but the star was the meats very flavorful and juicy with that char grill flavor.
The staff was very friendly with helping us understand how it worked there.

Great food, hot bar and salad bar were fresh and appealing. Very clean place and very good service. Seems like there is live music at night.

Absolutely perfect place when you want real food and don’t want table service. Great for lunch, especially, and reasonably priced.

I hate giving negative reviews, but I’ve got to say this. The lamb was dried out and cooked to death. The brisket was medium rare and as chewy as bubble gum. I couldn’t eat it. Interesting buffet items and nice servers, though.

Minas Cafe Steakhouse is a Brazilian steakhouse with a unique setup. There’s no host, and you need to weigh your food before heading to a table. The food itself is good, with a salad bar, food bar, and a carving station. However, the ordering system can be confusing, especially when it’s busy. There’s no menu for drinks or desserts, and everything is communicated verbally. The restaurant is clean and new, with a stage for live music and TVs. The bathrooms are also clean. Overall, it’s a decent place, but the ordering system might be tricky for some.

Had been to the Norwood location so was delighted to have them open a new location right down the street from my house. Would say this location is actually better, nicer atmosphere inside, same great food. It’s different from other Brazilian restaurants I have been to where it’s all you can eat, you pay by the pound instead. Which is better if you just want a normal amount of food since it’s much less cost then the all you can eat places. Buffet style sides and the meats are at a carving station and you tell the cook what you would like and doneness of the meat. Lots of variety from different cuts of beef, to pork, chicken and sausage.
