Welcome to Catrinas Cerveza & Mexican Grill At Catrina’s Mexican Restaurant, we pride ourselves on bringing authentic Mexican flavors and dishes from Mexico to Minnesota. Catrinas opened our first restaurant in Oakdale, MN in late 2014, our second in St. Anthony in 2016 and our third location in St. Paul in July 2018. Founders Lorenzo Tejeda and Paul Marshall focus on bringing you everything fresh, authentic, and locally sourced. All food is made in house by the owners and chefs on a daily basis and served in a fast-casual taqueria setting. See you soon!

The best thing about Fridays is that the menu at Catrina’s Skyway features Fish Tacos. I know I’m asking for a fight on here but Catrina’s are the BEST fish tacos for miles around. If you work or live downtown you owe it to yourself to walk over to this modest lunch-counter place, really any weekday. On days other than Friday you might even have room for one of their cookies, an excellent choice. You will not find nicer, more helpful or more generous food servers anywhere–always a big plus in my book. Plus, if you hate Cilantro like I do you can get none of it!

Omg…this was delicious. Got chicken as a protein n it was juicy n flavorful. They do not skimp on the ingredients. Really filled up my bowl that I would have leftovers for dinner. Their spicy salsa is also on point. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of it. Would definitely go back for more.

This is some of the best food I’ve had in a while! The setup is similar to that of other fast Mexican food places but Catrina’s is far superior! The big chain restaurants do not even coming close to the quality of food at Catrina’s! The staff are super nice too which is a huge bonus!
I came here on a whim because I just needed something quick to eat but I’m so happy I stopped here! Plus lots of Mexican decor that really sets the charm for this place.
I will be coming here again and recommending to friends! Not to mention, the portions you get for the price are an amazing deal!

Something was definitely expired. Go here if you want sour burps and an upset stomach smh… Chips were good and cheese was nice and hot though. I had a beef tinga bowl w/ Mexican rice. I do not recommend it!

I ordered a burrito and the fish tacos on my lunch break today. It ended up being more food than I bargained for with the tacos being bigger than expected! The portions were definitely reasonable. Anyways, I really enjoyed the burrito. I went with the barbacao for meat and then rice, pico, corn, cheese, and guacamole. The meat was a tad dry but it was also super flavorful. You could also taste what was inside the burrito which I liked since sometimes burritos are just a jumbled up mess that lack cohesiveness.
The fish tacos were good, but I should’ve went with the flour tortillas instead of corn because the corn tortillas just don’t do it for me and can be a little soggy. If they toasted the corn tortillas on a grill top instead of steaming, then I probably would’ve enjoyed it more. There was a good amount of fish in the tacos and they were seasoned well too.

I’m an absolute idiot and forgot to put anything in my burrito order other than the meat and that I wanted queso, but the meat was so flavorful that I didn’t notice at first. I must have looked like a crazy person when I went to pick up barbacoa and rice on a tortilla. oop!
