This place absolutely passed the vibe check! From the moment we walked into Riverside Johnny’s, the atmosphere was welcoming, upbeat, and exactly what we’ve been searching for. The energy is fun without being overwhelming the perfect balance for a great night out.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Everything tasted high quality and well prepared.
The staff truly stood out friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Great service makes all the difference, and they nailed it.

This is the place to be!!! it’s a bar setting so we watched the football game while we had dinner, we were a group of 6 and got seated immediately on a sunday. the setting and view is great!!! we got the nashville hot chicken sandwich, hangover burger, double daytona burger, and the grouper fish tacos. everything was AMAZING!!! only thing we can say for the chicken was that it was just hot and lowkey no flavor but it was SO crispy, we added some jhonny’s special sauce and that was really good, overall a 4.7/5!!
we also got drinks and they were strong!!! and the prices are not talked about!!! it’s so well priced here, def recommend!!

Seriously, what a beautiful location! We had such a great time at Johnny’s Riverside recently and couldn’t have asked for a better evening. We knew we had to sit outside, and the ambiance was just spot-on perfect. If you can time it right for sunset, definitely do it—the view over the river is absolutely incredible and makes the whole meal feel super relaxing and special. It’s the best dinner-with-a-view spot in town!
The food was fantastic and totally matched the awesome setting. We kicked things off with the spinach dip, and it was killer—creamy, hot, and seasoned just right, And comes with both pita bread and tortilla chips. For the main event, we tried a few dishes. I seriously can’t stop thinking about the curry chicken salad sandwich; it was loaded with flavor and put together perfectly. We also grabbed some boneless wings and a side of cheddar fries, which were perfect for sharing. Everything arrived fast, and our server was super attentive and friendly.
Johnny’s Riverside is absolutely nailing it with the combination of a gorgeous atmosphere and seriously delicious food. This place is the best! We went during bike week (wasn’t intentional) but they still had room to seat us within like 5 mins. The food was delicious! The atmosphere was so great (lots of good music, talking, beautiful views, and lively but I imagine it may be a little more peaceful at less busy times). The service was great and the food was amazing! Also for some reason the Pepsi had like double syrup, it tasted so good lol, I asked the server and she didn’t know why but said the machine on the patio is like that but the one inside isn’t lol.

Enjoyed a nice quiet lunch here during bike week. We sat at the outdoor bar & had good service from the bartender. We started with the east coast oysters – yum! Then we shared the wings which were very good. They have a nice outdoor area & a parking lot. Would definitely go here again when in the area.

Last night I started Daytona Beach Bike Week 2026 here at this amazing establishment! @River side Johnny’s! I had a delicious grilled grouper sandwich that was off the chart! They had an awesome band playing some really good music . My Bartender Jason and everybody there was so kind and friendly! This is my third year going there, and if you have not been there, you need to as you will not be disappointed! It has the most beautiful sunsets ever! I had to reach out to the Manager/ Regional Manager, Spencer, who also was very friendly to tell him about my experience! I told him to be my husband about to try that your sandwich! For sure ***** all the way!f

Went here a couple of times this month while staying in Daytona. Including for superbowl night. Great food and service. Wasn’t there fault the weather was extraordinarily cold due to a freak weather system this month. Will be going back before we leave Daytona at the end of the month.

This is my first time visiting Daytona and after a long day we wanted a nice hot meal. This place was recommended so we took a chance.
First off our waitress was not friendly or welcoming in the beginning. When the food came we had to send it back because my husband’s burger wasn’t cooked correctly and it was cold. He ordered the Bistro Burger.
I ordered the mushroom Swiss and asked for an egg to be added. The burger came and looked really good, but it was also cold and the waitress had to get me an egg because they forgot it.
After my husband told the waitress about how he felt like we were being treated by her, her demeanor changed. And she apologized.
We got the food remade and it was better. We probably won’t be back!

I ordered a small grilled chicken Caesar salad for 12 dollars. Absolutely worth it, gave large portions of grilled chicken. The chicken was high quality but lacked a flavorful taste and needed more seasoning and flavor. I also had a chocolate peanut butter pie cake that was 7 dollars. I would buy this again, I have no complaints.

The waiter was very kind and did great but unfortunately made an honest mistake by putting my chicken salad to cost 6 dollars more and messed up the check. She fixed it though and admitted her mistake. Great service.

“Riverside” Johnny’s is an accurate name. The view of the surrounding river made a great atmosphere. There were sports channels on at the TVs for entertainment.
