Stang’s is a food stall in the outdoor Village Shopping Center in Corte Madera, CA. They serve up quality dogs and sausages. Ya know, the kind that snaps when you bite into ‘em because of the quality casing. Delicious.
The outdoor shopping center has high end retailers. The center can be seen off the Highway and easy enough to get to. I’m not a local and rarely shop here. Stang’s is the only reason I make a stop. The stand is near Nordstroms.
The dogs are $7/ combo $10.25. They offer 4 different kinds of sausage from $8.25/ combo $12.75. They even have a vegan sausage option. The dogs are stadium length. Combos include a bag of chips and a canned drink. I’ve had no issues with the staff, all great encounters.
Stang’s has a gated outdoor dining area. Since the stand is minimally staffed, they may not have the time to clean the dining area. Understandably so. Right next to Stang’s patio, there are shopping center community tables. Those tables are maintained by the shopping center cleaning crew. Plus there are trash and recycling bins close by making it easier for folks to pick up after themselves.

Fast, affordable, and decent food. It’s definitely good if you want a quick bite and it’s perfect for that.

I was so pleased in finding this outdoor stand, as I was craving some thing that I could eat quickly, and it was vegetarian. The beyond sausage dog was scrumptious. I loved the sauerkraut and spicy mustard with it, and the bun was really good, which is not always the case. There are some seating areas outside & I snagged one in the sun and quickly devoured my dog!

Well, oddly enough Wienerschnitzel is 10 times better in all aspects. The thing is I don’t care Wienerschnitzel either. Okay, the staff wasn’t friendly and to order was to bother him. The children did like it which was a surprise. The grill onions was great but only after asking a couple times to get it. The pricing is outrageous for what you get, it is more of a rip off.

Great all beef hot dogs with Zapp’s potatoes chips ohh yeah many choices to add to your hot dog, chicken sauce, sausage or Louisiana hot. The service way excellent very nice young lady come in on her day off due to a not show, hard working people there. Minus the construction a great place for a quite, quick lunch. Even better when the work is done. Clean, quite and relaxing place.

This place is a gem. Affordable, quick, friendly, always tasty. Easily my favorite spot at the mall. Do yourself a favor and try the chili dog. Stang’s absolutely nails the chili dog. Some good sausages and plenty of good beer choices.
