This is my favorite brunch spot in Waco! Amazing quality, food, fresh and fun dishes with lots of flavor. I loved my gluten-free and dairy free options! I really enjoy their bottomless coffee and homemade syrups and multiple creamer options! I got fantastic service from Sarah last week, very friendly and kind, she helped me get exactly what I wanted! I also love the vibes and atmosphere. What a treasure!

I had high hopes for this restaurant but I was unfortunately disappointed. This was my experience.
The first thing I noticed about this place upon arriving was the lack of adequate parking. There are several parking spaces directly in front of the place about 8 spaces or so and then there is available parking around the corner, about 10 spaces. This is a bit awkward because you may find yourself having to circle around the block several times.
Once I arrived and walked inside I totally understood why the parking is so sparse. Inside is very quaint and cozy and the overall dining area is small and compact.
I met Lacy the welcoming hostess. She handed me the menu and proceeded to ask me about my menu selection. I was a little put off at first because I was expecting to be seated. But okay. I went with the flow. She gave me a numbered placard and instructed me to find my own seating choice.
I ordered the brioche French Toast topped with blueberries and cream, and 2 eggs with bacon. I requested that my eggs be cooked medium and not overcooked or runny and my bacon to be crispy. I waited for about 7 minutes. No worries, but when my food arrived, I noticed my eggs were overcooked. So Lacy apologized and told me she would have it corrected. She came back a few minutes later and the eggs were cooked soft but cool to the touch. I cannot tolerate being served cold food. I paid $17 for this meal and I had to just shake my head like, why is it so hard for restaurants to serve their customers hot food. This should be a mandated culinary practice. I don’t get it.
I didn’t want to complain again in my disappointment of the temperature of the eggs or that they failed to cook them initially to order, so I just ate around them. The French Toast and bacon were okay but at this point I was just deflated because I had high expectations for this place. I mean the reviews were great and I wanted to share in the experience of enjoying a good meal but sadly I did not.

Truly a wonderful dining experience. Whether you live in or are just passing through Waco make a plan to eat here. From the scones to the migas to the coffee, everything was delicious. We will definitely stop in again when traveling to The Big D.

Harvest on 25th is a very nice brunch place in Waco! The food was really good and we loved their sweet/savory options. The service was really nice but it does take a bit for the food to come to our table (it was really busy so it makes sense). The atmosphere was also very nice and pleasant. Overall, I’d definitely recommend coming here when in Waco!

My FAVORITE place! Cozy clean eating! Allergy friendly choices and the BEST scratch made desserts!!!
Also the coffee is top notch. They use a special blend from Pinewood Roasters here in Waco. Lots of locally sourced ingredients on the menu.

This is the best restaurant in Waco. They have quality, fresh ingredients made into delicious meals obviously from scratch. They have numerous Vegetarian/Vegan options which although I am not either of those, makes it easy to recommend this place to anyone. Genuinely I tell everyone with a pulse about this place. The staff is kind and knowledgeable and the food never misses. I usually get the salad pizza combo which for the amount and quality of food feels like a steal at their prices. I realize at this point I must seem like a paid reviewer but I promise you will not regret eating here.

We came here because we like the selection available on the menu. If you eat meat, they have some good options, as well. I had the hamburger which was very flavorful. The vegetables were fresh and delicious.
The service was fantastic. They were very nice and helpful.

This was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered the margherita pizza which was pretty flavorful but a little lacking and I also got the Pesto chicken Sammie sandwich with sweet potato fries. This sandwich was very disappointing to say the least. Good idea but poorly executed I would say. The chicken was super dry and the sandwich overall was very dry, could have used more of some sauce that added moisture. Did not finish sandwich and for $16 I would have expected more flavor. The sweet potato fries were super charred and was a bit too charred for me, even though I do like certain foods cooked this way. Not sure I would return to try again. Very disappointing for my first visit.
UPDATE: Really appreciate Harvest responding so quickly and refunding the cost of my sandwich. Might give them a second chance to stop by just for the prompt follow up.

Fabulous! Visiting Waco and received a recommendation for Harvest on 25th. It’s tucked into neighborhood and is a cozy and welcoming place. My husband and I had breakfast tacos with sweet potato hash, roasted apple and blueberry oatmeal, and the grilled chicken pesto sandwiches. Everything was incredible. Large portions. Highly recommend this place!

WOW!! Was so delighted by my experience here. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and comfortable, prices were reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious!! Vegan and non-vegan options available. I chose the half pizza and salad combo and the portion size was very filling. They were so generous with the berries on the salad. If you need a great, nutritious vegan meal, look no further than Harvest on 25th!
