Following some great reviews, we ate in Kushi Coconut last night and we were so glad that we managed to get a table. The food was packed with flavour and the service was brilliant; Shah and his team were attentive, personable and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and it was so lovely to have conversations with diners on other tables.

A lovely restaurant, run by an equally lovely owner! We enjoyed a great meal here! The owner even made me a king prawn Bhuna, which was delicious! We shared various other dishes, which were all good quality. Sadly we don’t live locally, however, if we visit Winchester again, we’ll know where to go! Excellent value for money, too!

This was a little gem of a find in Winchester. Newish restaurant so smaller menu but if quiet, the well known chef will cook what you want. He was so friendly, kind and generous as was our waitress. The food was delicious and myself and my friend would definitely go again. Very relaxing atmosphere.

We went on a busy Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food is really delicious and the welcome is warm from Shah and his team. They were full the night we were there and we did have to wait for food, which wasn’t a problem for us but might be for some. If you want great food in a warm, welcoming environment this is the place for you, but if you want slick, quick service probably best to wait until they overcome a few teething problems as a new start-up. Overall, highly recommended!

First time we had been here. Had a lovely warm welcome. We were offered a variety of dishes, starters ,main etc which Sharman is trying out for £20 per head. Certainly worth it. Our curries were delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. We have been to many Indian Restaurants in Winchester over the years and we both can honestly say Kooshi Coconut is by far the best. Highly recommend. So, thank you to Shar and the team, you made our wedding anniversary complete. We will definitely be back. Mandy and. Dave.

Shah, the owner, greeted us warmly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He served the children a huge portion of chicken nuggets and chips plus a fresh salad, ensuring they were happy and full before we even started on our own meals.
For the adults, the food was simply sensational — bursting with rich, layered flavors, perfectly cooked breads, and fragrant rice. Honestly, it was the best Indian food we’ve had in a long time.
The portions were generous, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
If you want authentic taste, incredible hospitality, and the feeling of being truly looked after, Kushi Coconut is the place to go. Shah and his team have created something special here, and we can’t wait to come back!
