This place has a very cheerful owner who we shared a bit of banter with . Fast efficient service, scrumptious fish and chips, cooked to perfection and served piping hot, the fish was so fresh and the batter crispy. Glad we made the choice to go here.

Popped in here first night of my holiday to Tenby to get my authentic experience of fish and chips on the beach! Had a perusal of the menu and then noticed a sign saying minimum £10 card payment which I wasn’t going to reach, so I asked the guy serving if he knew where I could get cash. He asked what I’d wanted from the menu so I told him, and he said it’d be fine so that was great.
Ordered a fishcake, chips, coleslaw and pickled gherkin to go. Fresh chips were cooked so a 5 minute fair wait. All wrapped up nicely for me, extremely reasonable pricing to be fair. Lovely service from the guy there that night, happy to chat.
Dividers up for covid, no indoor seating. All appears to be in line with regulations and restrictions.
Took my food out onto the Tenby South Beach Esplanade to eat on a bench, was lovely. Not greasy at all, plenty of salt and vinegar as requested. Great little chippy, happy to support locally.

Great fish and chips / scampi at what id consider the going price most places now. Friendly man serving, glad we chose Pipers.

Tried to order fish and chips. Was shouted at by a stressed out looking lady “we aint got no fish”. Bit wierd for a fish and chip shop on a Friday teatime! Went next door and got what we wanted and it was very nice too.

Called in twice across a week’s stay and found the chips to be ‘spot-on’ both times; didn’t have any extras so cannot pass comment on fish etc.
The chips were ‘clean’, not oily / greasy, consistent in size and no ‘contamination’ from other deep-fried items, probably why the chips were fully cooked but paler than usual. I suspect, but cannot be certain, that the chips are cooked separately to other items in which case they would be suitable for vegetarians.
Sign in shop states that the proprietor fries using ground nut oil; not sure of the benefit but it certainly doesn’t detract from the finished product.
It appeared that many items were being cooked to order as people were ‘hanging-around’, so I was glad to be only ordering chips as they were readily available.
Nice clean looking place.

I came here with family during our holiday in Wales. The staff were really courteous, and saw to us really quickly. There were a lot of us to feed, but we certainly weren’t disappointed with the time of which our food came. It came really quickly! The majority of us also had cups of tea, all of which were beautifully brewed. The serving staff were attentive and super sweet. The food was really nice – my fish and chips was very flavourful and served piping hot. Chips were nice and moist, exactly how chips should be, without being too mushy. Thank you for your hospitality, Piper’s!

Great food at reasonable price. Their fish is well seasoned and batter is very crisp! We enjoyed our chips with gravy and mushy peas with our haddock and overall, great fish and chips!

They use plant oils to cook in which is very unhealthy for the body, and cause serious harm for the future of man kind. Look for a “traditional” chip shop which uses lard as it healthier for the body and contains nutrients for the body. Blame the vegans for promoting these dangerous cheap seed/nut oils that many businesses are now using.

A 5* Chip Shop. Fast service and a friendly welcome. My go-to was the standard Cod and Chips. You can eat in or takeaway. I chose to have it as a takeaway and eat the food on a bench overlooking the sea.
If you are craving Fish and Chips by the sea. Choose Pipers.
