I stumbled upon Blarney Stone while walking towards Wall Street, and frankly, the $5 draft beers during happy hour were what truly drew me in. Once inside, it was everything I imagined a typical American pub to be.
The place had a lively atmosphere, partly thanks to a fast-paced lottery drawing machine – I’m not sure of its exact name, but patrons were thoroughly engrossed in it. It seemed to draw numbers and display results at regular intervals, adding an interesting dynamic to the pub.
Ultimately, on a hot day, it was fantastic to enjoy cold draft beer at such a great price thanks to their happy hour. It’s a solid spot if you’re in the area and looking for that authentic pub vibe with good deals.

This bar/grill has a nice vibe. The music is chill and not super loud. The people are nice and incredibly helpful. The food itself is a little underwhelming, particularly by way of seasoning. I had the rueben, and I would have liked a little more dressing and saurkraut on it personally because it felt almost dry. My mom had the burger, and I tried a bite – the meat didn’t taste seasoned… the same lack of seasoning resonated with the fries and onion rings as well… we are southern, so we season up everything, and I get that might be the norm here, but for me; it makes a world of difference in how food tastes. The $5 draft beers on the day we came only included Coors light and Budwiser- just regular. Overall, it was a good experience and a lunch we enjoyed! They added the tip into the bill when they brought it, which was fine, but it also is kind of weird for 2 people. Also, there is 1 pool table in the back.

A dive bar by the 911 Memorial. We love visiting dive bars so we had to stop into this one. Was that many patrons there so it was easy to get any seat you wanted. Prices were very reasonable for the area. Service was a little slow considering the lack of people, but the server was very nice. Larger establishment that could accommodate a bigger group.

Great place for a pint or a cidar. Good music and nice bartender.
I did get any food so can’t comment on that but my cidar was ocean cold. Very convenient to the 1 line subway stop.

Bad service, bad food, and an atmosphere so dark that you would think that are desperate to save $2 on their electric bill. The bald with glasses bartender only cares about taking care of his buddies and watching his football game. Service is bad.
Food is bad. Wings taste like fish. Either they are cooking of fish in their oil or they don’t change it often enough.
Go to Wogies. MUCH BETTER SERIVICE

Came in for a beer, ended up staying for one of their delicious burgers. Wall Street with mushrooms instead of onions. Just lovely. Highly recommend! Great service too!
