If I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would! This is hands down my all time favorite sushi spot, and honestly, I refuse to go anywhere else. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the friendliest staff who always make you feel welcome and taken care of. It’s so refreshing to see a restaurant where the entire team is consistently kind, upbeat, and genuinely happy to help. The food? Out of this world AMAZING. Every roll I’ve tried has been perfectly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell they put care into every dish, and it really shows. I never have to worry about whether my order will be right or if the quality will be off it’s always spot on. Whether I’m dining in or picking up, everything is seamless. Pick-up orders are always ready on time, and dining in is such a great experience because the atmosphere is gorgeous. The inside is spotless, pretty, and has such a clean, inviting vibe that makes me want to stay for hours. On top of that, the service is fast without ever feeling rushed. If you want sushi that’s consistently delicious, beautifully presented, and served with a smile this is the place!

I’m a huge fan of the Ichiban location in Mt. Lookout. Dollar-for-dollar, I think it’s the best sushi restaurant in Cincinnati — super high quality with below average prices. I tried this location in Mason for takeout one night. It’s a small sample size, but the quality seems like it’s high here, too. Classic rolls are exceptional; there’s plenty of fancier ones to choose from, but you’ll be just as satisfied with the basics. The menu is loaded up and I can vouch for both food and drinks being solid across the board at the other location. So if my one visit here is any indication, then you can’t go wrong here either!

I wish I had found this place sooner, 1/2 price sushi is my sweet spot! A friend and I shared the fried tofu, a Spider Roll, and a Honey Bee Roll (never had it before, but it was really good, like a rainbow roll with a honey sauce) and we were absolutely stuffed. Everything was reasonably priced and very tasty. We will definitely be back!

Always love the food here. Tempura with Sake (they have selections of sake), great sushi, very cozy and casual ambience, tasty fried desserts and so close to home. Our son loves it so it’s an easy pick up spot.

We had dinner and then lunch again last week. Fresh and tasty sushi at half price all day, good quality and presentation. The lunch bento box is amazing value, too. Friendly and quick service, very clean and spacious. We’ll definitely come back.

I came here to try the ramen, which was a mistake. The ramen was edible but not the least bit tasty. This was the worst ramen I’ve eaten (to include the classic Maruchan instant noodle packs to Michelin star rated ramen shops in Japan).
This was the first time that I had to inform the staff that I couldn’t finish the meal due to its poor condition. Fortunately the waitress was very understanding and did not charge us as we really didn’t eat it. I’m a huge proponent for not wasting food, but it was bad ya hear me.
I believe their redeeming dishes are sushi, it was fairly priced and delicious. I can still recommend this restaurant but DO NOT get the ramen!

All Experiences
Good outdoor dining, friendly service, good menu options. Only thing that could have been better was the food. It felt chain restaurant. Dripping with sauce or processed. Fried pork was identical to a schnitzel on a bed of rice. Miso soup was good as well as the veggie tempura.
