My gf ordered two fish with rice for me. It tasted really bad. I am ordered the food at my work and now i have no choice but to eat this. I am enraged. The rice was bland, the fish was overly salty. Then, the cold salad with it all is diabolical. It’s like prison food. Yes, for a food at this level $35 is too much. I would like a refund.

To Start I Must Say I Have Been Looking For a Great Halal Food Spot For Years Here In Connecticut and to My Surprise I Finally Found This Chain Restaurant Here In Danbury That Recently Opened. I ordered the Lamb over Rice and Chicken Over Rice For Me and My Girlfriend and For My Daughter I Got The Nuggets and Fries and Also a Philly CheeseSteak Sandwich. The Food I Must Say Is Actually Really Good Definitely Had The Taste of New York That I Have Been Missing! The Chicken And Lamb Over Rice I give it a 8.5/10 and the Fries and Nuggets I Give it a 8/10 and the CheeseSteak I give it a 8.5/10 only thing that I really needed extra with that CheeseSteak was some more cheese, so Definitely next time I’ll definitely Ask For More of that so Should you. Overall, the experience was really good and friendly with the workers and everything. I’ll definitely be going back and trying out the other options on the menu they have. As for the price of the Menu Options, it’s Fairly Okay and Not too Over Priced. So If You Are looking for a good Halal Food Spot, Shah’s is definitely the Place To Go and I Gurantee You Won’t be disappointed.

I did the works on both, which included rice, chicken and lamb, peppers and onions, black beans, salata, chickpeas, hummus, and their specialty white sauce (and green sauce on the bowl). The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Price is affordable — the bowl was loaded and only $11.99, while the gyro was $9.99. They paired perfectly with their homemade pakora chips, which are basically French fries but shaped as classic potato chips.

Located next to Aldi where Boston Market used to be. We have gotten deliveries a few times but haven’t been inside. Deliveries always arrive warm and quickly. There is an all day delivery special, buy one get one free on Uber Eats.
The food is very good. Their lamb and chicken are both very good over the rice. You are able to make slight modifications to your meal if you don’t want all the vegetables. The fries were surprisingly crispy. They season them with their special blends of seasoning. If you haven’t tried Halal, no better place to start.

I have been to every Shah’s in the area- Orange, Norwalk, White Plains, Palisades, etc etc. Danbury Shah’s is by far the BEST SHAH’S out there! The food is absolutely amazing and always fresh along with having some of the greatest staff like Sebastián! And they are open late so that’s a plus. I typically order the combo over rice with everything. A must try!

I wanna love this place but I just can’t. My husband really loves the food here and so we’ve ordered out from here 3 times, and every single time we’ve had extreme stomach aches afterward. We’ve ordered chicken and falafel gyros each time. The chicken is pretty good and especially with the green sauce. We weren’t a fan of the falafel the first time we had it, it was very dry and didn’t have much flavor. My husband said it was better when he added them into his chicken gyro. The second time he got the falafel, he said it was so much better!
