I have had a terrible experience each and every time I’ve visited this restaurant. The only reason I ever returned was because my daughter requested food specifically from here; however, I will not return in the future. The food is good, but the customer service is terrible. Every time I request a small order of fried rice, the cashier gets visibly upset and has even lied a few times regarding the portion sizes. He will also limit the amount of soy sauce to one for an entire order of rice; when asked for more he becomes upset (gritting teeth, etc). He is by far one of the rudest people that I have ever met. It’s not worth spending my hard earned money at any business that mistreats customers in the manner experienced at this place.

The food was great. Service was horrible. The cashier rushed us on the ordering. Never asked if we were dining in or take out. When asked a question about an item, he simply replied i already swiped your card and cut me off. When asked for duck sauce, he simply threw it at me and on the counter like i was bothering him. This was my first visit, and I was very disappointed with the service.

I have been to this restaurant a few times. The food is good; the man at the register is extremely rude. I thought maybe the first time being there that the man at the register was having a bad day. The second and third day he was still rude, disrespectful. When I asked for some condiments, he rudely stated that I had it. He was rushing me when I made my payment.
His customers service is terrible, unprofessional and out of order. Even the food is good, the poor customer service damages rhe reputation of the restaurant.

My family and I have been supporting this business for years. At first there was a very nice Asian lady who worked the counter. She left some time ago and the customer service has been atrocious. The guy who is there now is very rude and disrespectful. The food is very good but I can’t continue to support this business because of how bad we are treated every time we go there.

Please watch them make your food. Me another customer waiting for are food when the guy with me seen one of the cooks drop a steak on the floor and pick it up and place it on the plate to go. So when the other guy told them what he seen they try and lie about it. So we asked for a refund back. There customer service sucks and the guy at the cash register talks fast and you can’t understand him. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME! BE CAREFUL

This place is tiny. A hole in the wall restaurant would have been bigger than this place. The look of this place was cold, like you were intruding. The employee at the counter didn’t help. You have to speak loudly for them to hear you through the plastic and plexy glass taped and bolted to the wall. They talk into a mic that comes out very tiny and also hard to hear. And your payment is taken through a flap that opens separately on both sides. The entire time I was here, I felt very unwelcome, like I shouldn’t have come. The pictures I took don’t convey the almost post apocalyptic feel to this place. I tried to hold off judgement until we got our food and had a chance to try it once we got home. I wish it had been good. It wasn’t. Nothing we bought tasted any good, and the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. You have to get it to go, there is no where to sit down to eat. Heck, there was barely anywhere to sit while waiting for our food. I fully understand that the pandemic is still going, but this felt extreme. We will not be going back here.

I ordered Seafood Lo Mein on 9/23/25 at Tokyo Grill Southaven. The dish contained zucchini, to which I have a life-threatening allergy. I politely explained and requested a remake. Staff instead removed the zucchini and returned the food to the grill. This created a dangerous cross-contact risk, so I refused the order and left. I will not return. Please be cautious if you have food allergies.

The best of the best! First time trying this place. I got the LSU roll and fried rice. Everything was perfect! I will never eat at any other place ever again! Tokyo Grill outshines the others! Wish I would have tried here sooner. But I will most definitely be returning.

I am from NC, stop here because I was craving Japanese style food. I got the Hibachi chicken with fried rice, zucchini, mushrooms and onions. I also got a sweet potato sushi roll. Everythimg was good, a bit of a wait but over all good prices good service. The fried rice is a bit plain. Give it a taste!

Sushi was excellent. Quick service. Only complaint- I ordered 3 rolls to share, and they only included one spicy mayo sauce. When I asked for 2 more I was told it would cost extra.
