Had a nice lunch with my mom and husband. The service was good, but the food was just alright. My mom ordered the spanakopita for us all to share, it was tasty but very salty, which was the exact opposite of everything else we ordered. I found most of the items lacking not only salt, but seasoning in general. My husband tried ther beef pot pie, and also wasn’t impressed. The top was more like a motza cracker and not a typical flaky pot pie. Dessert was better, the Italian pistachio cake was very good, but was imported and not made in house. Our server was attentive and never let our drinks go empty. But overall not sure if we’ll be back.

We started eating at this Diner when it was named Oceanos and it is one our our favorite diners in the area. We’ve had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert at this location and it is always excellent. The owners are so sweet and welcoming and their staff is great as well. The dining area is clean, the tables and booths were recently updated and it is always nicely decorated (especially for the holidays).
For lunch, I usually get the Chicken Italiano sandwich, but decided to try the Cajun chicken wrap. It was stuffed with beautifully seasoned Cajun chicken slices, lettuce, onions, tomato and cheese. It was served with a large portion of crispy fries, coleslaw, and pickle slices. I also tried a cup of their lobster bisque, which was thick, creamy, flavorful and filling.
We love this place because the prices are very reasonable and we never leave hungry or dissatisfied.

My family and I went for breakfast, hands down best spot in the area. The atmosphere is very comfortable and homey. The staff was warm and welcoming.The food was absolutely delicious. I got the western omelet with a side of sausage. The three of us ate and were stuffed for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning for breakfast, and cant wait to try them for dinner. 10 out of 10.

Edit: I’ve been here multiple times since my first post. Food is consistently always hot and great flavor. My favorite diner around.

The food is good, however, the hostess should be mindful not to gossip with other customers about how people dress their children, because sometimes those people you’re talking poorly about are still in the building and can hear you just fine. If you have children, and want to eat and not be judged by someone who has no idea of your circumstances, I would recommend a different restaurant. We will not be returning.

Ok, this was my first trip to this diner, and I must say it was a pleasant one. My friend and I went at 11:30 am on a Wednesday, it wasn’t super busy. Staff was friendly and checked in often. They have many options, and honestly, it was hard for me to choose what I wanted to try because a lot of it sounded good. We got Calamari for a “starter.” That was the only downside because it came out with our main meals. Still tasted good. Nice fried crunch, but not chewy ether. My friend got the Reuben platter and said it was really good. I ordered the Chicken Italiano platter. I enjoyed it all. The food combination on the sandwich worked really well. Their coleslaw was ok. Not the best I’ve had, but still good. The place definitely has a comfy/cozy feel. Very open and clean. Anther nice thing they have is some outdoor seating, but not sure if thats just for semi decoration or for people waiting to come in/ just talking after leaving. It doesn’t seem like it be where you can order and have your meal there, I may be wrong. Will have to go back and try some other dishes and will update this if I do so. Sadly, I didn’t get many pictures of the inside because I’m still awkward with being that person taking pictures in a business. Lol.

Dropped by the Avenue Diner In Berlin for dinner. We received “25th Anniversary Bingo cards” for the month of May.
It’s a nice, family run diner with friendly staff and expedient service. Prices are reasonable and food is good. They also have daily specials and homemade desserts available most days. Busiest times are weekend brunch hours.

We just found this dinner. The inside is clean and new.
We ordered from the lunch specials. We like what we ordered. I had Half sandwich and a cup of soup and my wife had salad and half sandwich.
Salad was very crisp and fresh.
We will definitely come again!

Great food, fantastic service. I drove by and saw the sign for pot pie. My mom always gave me pot pie as comfort food and it was cold and miserable out.
So I turned around and went to the parking lot.
The parking lot is not prepared for how popular the diner is. Be prepared to either drive in circles or park on the street. I parked on the street.
The pot pie was worth it.
They asked me if I wanted dill. I said yes. It was interesting and a little overwhelming.

I stopped by while in the area and checked this app for a good place to eat. Avenue Diner came up and I stopped by. The parking lot was packed with no parking spots available. Good indicator that I’m in for a treat. I decided to have Breakfast for Dinner so I ordered The meat omelet with home fries and a short stack of French Toast. Usually home fries are plate decorations for me. I don’t like them and will leave them on the plate. These were delicious! The meat omelet was very meaty & cheesy (some places they aren’t). Every bite had multiple meats. I was thrilled and I enjoyed the French Toast. Avenue Diner has the perfect home fries and make a filling, delicious meat omelet. The French Toast was good too. I definitely enjoyed my dining experience and recommend the Avenue Diner for their delicious breakfast.
