Very disappointed with them tonight as we have always ordered from here and it’s never been disappointing. Unfortunately, the rolls felt thinner , kept breaking apart, and very difficult to grab with the chopsticks and my son has already found 2 hairs in the you maki rolls.

Always nice, quick, high quality food. Most recent order was ma po tofu, and its amazing. The tofu is large, the sauce is flavorful. And a large side of white rice. With delivery, only 30 bucks and here under 30 minutes. I love this place!! and their coffee is good, too <3

I got takeout, so I can’t comment on the atmosphere, the service is pretty much what you’d expect. But oh my god the food was bad. I got crab rangoon and the szechuan chicken. Crab rangoons were almost empty, and tasted of onion more than anything else. Szechuan chicken was awful, had this weird slimey texture to it. Barely any chicken, like, not exaggerating 6 chunks of chicken in the dinner. And my stomach has been doing back flips for hours. The Chinese place up the road can’t be this bad.

I ordered the spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls, both of which were well-prepared and flavorful. The combination of fresh fish and spicy mayo created a balanced and enjoyable taste. I am looking forward to exploring more of their menu in the future. Overall, it was a great experience—8/10. They also have dining.

Used to be one of my favorite joints growing up but unfortunately it’s only gotten worse over the years.
Food has less flavor, and you might get a lot of nerves in some dishes. We pretty much just stick to the lo mein these days.
Today, I ordered the empress chicken and they gave me the exact same chicken they use for sweet and sour. I mean, it’s not even “thinly sliced and lightly breaded”. Worst part yet, the breading isn’t even seasoned. It’s so bland.
It’s really sad to see its current state. I don’t think we’ll be ordering from them again in quite a while.

Patronized for the first time on 12/22/2024. Boy did I regret it. I’m going to have to contain myself to not go back. I had been craving sushi specifically cooked, I dont eat raw fish. I found the taste I was looking for. Something that didn’t taste store bought. The rolls I had were very good. I had the Las Vegas Roll it’s deep fried with salmon similar to the one a chain restaurant sells but Jwoks was better. And I had the Spicy Mexican. If you love avocado, you will love these. I also ordered the vegetable fried rice. So much flavor didn’t need to add soy sauce..Fresh and hot. My only con was I wish the rolls were bigger and expensive for the price. I’m happy I finally tried this place. They have daily specials too. Try them out.

I order a lg beef fry rice to go and I paid $17. Very disappointing to see there was barely any beef and all rice.. after a few minutes looking for beef I empty out the container on to a large plate to separate everything and saw they purposely chop the beef super small to where you can’t even taste it nevertheless see it.. there was less than 1 1/2 oz of actual beef and for $17+ not worthy it all in my list of good Chinese restaurants in the area of oak park!!

I ordered orange chicken lunch special. The chicken was tough, rough, over cooked and in the sauce there were tiny hard black balls that almost cracked my teeth, I called to complain and they were no help and said “maybe you took to long to eat”.

Not the best place to eat in. Overpriced for the quality/service.
Ordered my favorite dish (pad thai) and as you can tell from the pictures, too much sauce. Where it was too sweet and the flavor was overbearing. Along with one small wedge of lemon, dont want to blow the budget huh?
Pork siu mai was delivered in a sad little styrofoam plate.
No sauce.
I asked if they had any red vinegar and they looked at me like I was speaking in tonges.
Eel sauce? Yes but, of course, thats extra.
So Im expected to dip it with the sweet and sour packets. And boy, did I need to submerge them in sauce because the sui mai hardly had any other fillings or flavor.
Upside is the cashier (wanda?) Sweet girl. Friendly. Does as much as she can and you can tell her boss gives her a hard time based on the body language I gathered within the dining room.
Food-wise, their shrimp rolls were crispy and did NOT taste like they’ve been frozen for a long time.
I can only see myself ordering take out from this place in the future. And thats only IF the other smaller Chinese restaurants are closed.
Overall, a huge waste of $30.
And Im the type of person to pay $17 for a great quality burger.
Go to a buffet for half the price.
