I had one of the $7 lunch specials, Pal Kwang shrimp po boy. It was delicious and good portion size for the price. The server was excellent and said I can get the lunch specials “to go” also. This is great for when I’m on my lunch break during the week and better than fast food for about the same price.

We went here for my son‘s birthday during the week. Our server was amazing. She even accommodated my vegan diet- with adding tofu to the vegetable plate. We sat back and enjoyed the meal and relaxed, not rushed at all. They have great lunch specials on Tuesday and Thursday.

This was my second visit, for the first visit we used the hot pot to cook our food, it was a great experience but I did most of the work and it was tiring. So this visit we all ordered cooked items from the menu. I ordered the Pain Killer, very strong on the alcohol. For food I got the Japchae which was good, my wife got the bibimbap which was also good. The other couple ordered chicken and fried rice and some sushi rolls. All was very good. Our waitress was attentive, food came out quickly (it wasn’t very busy). Some of the items on the menu were not available, manager apologized and said they would be getting resupplied the following day.

Man oh man what a great restaurant.. the food was awesome,the place was very clean,all of the workers was friendly and the prices are amazing. if you are looking for a great place to dine or just a place to meet up with friends and watch the game, maybe have a drink or two without being bothered. Me and my boyfriend went here on an impromptu date night and when I say this was one of the most delicious restaurants we have eaten at in a WHILE that’s an understatement. The food was absolutely divine, the meat was tender and amazingly seasoned. Neither of us that big on kimchi but their variety of kimchi was fantastic. Service was very attentive and helpful! If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. Definitely gonna be back again before our vacation ends!

What a wonderful experience. Was seated quickly and was served even quicker. Server, David was phenomenal and had a great sushi recommendation. Took a little bit to get our food but great things take time. My general tso’s chicken was delightfully sweet spicy and savory. A perfect combination of flavors entering my mouth. The football was a plus aswell.

We celebrated a belated Valentines’ Day lunch at Lava Korean Steakhouse it was our 1st visit and we were impressed as soon as we walked in the doors. We were greeted and serve by a lovely young lady Marriam who seated us and took our orders.
The menu offered so many options I couldn’t decide so I ordered the tacos with my full meal lemon curry with shrimp and fried rice.
The chef owner visited our table and expressed his appreciation of our patronage.
I highly recommend Lava House for an excellent dining experience with so many delicious options.

Very Americanized Korean food.
The only Korean in the restaurant was my spouse. That said the food was pretty good but don’t tell anyone you ate Korean food because you ate here. No panchon unless you order the BBQ, and then only 3 dishes. They don’t even offer chopsticks, but do have them if requested.

Had an amazing late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. A great blend of Korean and American flavors pleased the entire family. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Though it was easy to try many different flavors, will definitely be back to try more!
