Tried this place out for the first time on a trip down to Des Moines. Tortillas are fresh and made right in front of you. We ordered steak burrito, tacos, and chips w/queso. Everything was VERY good. Highly recommend.

Hey I went to the Fernando’s in Jordan creek and my service was awful to where I did not get my food, I asked for corn shelled tacos with shrimp and this man told me no and started laughing with coworkers he told me if I wanted shrimp I had to pay for a burrito which is ridiculous because me and my boyfriend who knows Fernando personally came and got corn tortillas with shrimp that Fernando himself made personally I don’t like being treated as I’m stupid or being laughed at by employees I came by November 19th 4-6pm with a male worker and 2 female workers my boyfriend will be finding a way to get in contact with you Mr Fernando because he knows your way of work thank you.

Food is good but the service from the owners not professional. My friend and I came to grab some extra food during our lunch break. We both work at the mall. My friend bought a flour tortilla got the discount and I did not. I got a corn steak taco to add to my salad I brought from home and I stated I could not eat flour because I have an allergy to gluten. The lady then proceeds to put my friend’s flour tortilla over my box. We both were wearing our store uniform. I didn’t even get a chance to say anything about my discount because he walked away from the register as I was about to pay.
I don’t see myself coming back if the owners are working. Their workers are a lot friendlier and don’t give us the cold shoulder for ordering sides. Just not okay because we are still paying customers at the end of the day

Food is fantastic! I recently ordered their burrito, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The three girls where talking while we were trying to order. They kept looking past us at someone walking away whole we were ordering. The first woman got my order wrong and gave me burritos instead of tacos and then got mad when I said that I ordered tacos. She acted like it was an inconvenience that she had to remake my order. Maybe listen to your paying customers next time and it won’t inconvenience you.
