This restaurant doesn’t get enough recognition. My husband and I come to Dante’s as our regular lunch spot. Their lunch specials are the best in town. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. If you need a reminder on a good restaurant in our area, Here it is! Happy Eating

Bought a slice of chocolate cake and found mold spotting on top of the icing of the cake. I returned it and asked if I switch it out, got a different one. It had mold on it too, I asked if I could get a refund and showed them. They refused and told they “made the cake yesterday.” Mold does not grow that fast for it to be spotting in under a week.
The food is way too expensive for the quality of food. $10 for a hamburger? $12 for a quesadilla? I see why it’s behind a gas station.

More of a take out spot. Don’t expect a fancy ambiance. Although they do have lots of seating if you choose to dine in. Also has a bar area. The Dante’s white pizza was decent. Pizza was the perfect thickness, not too doughy and not too thin. Ample amount of toppings. Crust was cooked perfectly. Cheese was melty. 4.25$ short draft beer. Customer service could’ve been better.

Delicious food! Went in for lunch and had garlic knots, lasagna, stromboli and salads. Best grilled chicken I’ve had on a salad in a long time. Some people might disagree with me, but I love that their garlic knots aren’t drowned in oil. Flavorful without being greasy, and the dipping sauce is SO good I want to take some home by itself for my own pasta. Lasagna was good, and stromboli was flavorful- the pepperoni has a great flavor. They also have EXCELLENT prices. Many things on the menu for lunch are $10 and you can’t beat that for fresh food. Decent service and the restaurant could use an update, but we will be back to try something else.

I’ve given Dante’s two chances with their wingettes. I even told the cashier I did not want dried up small wings. On superbowl I got 60 dried out wings, 45 naked and 15 barbecue. Awful on both counts. I will never buy from them again. Lesson learned. They need to close.

Ordered eggplant parmesan with no spaghetti and got eggplant with no cheese. Ordered eggplant, sausage, and green peppers with no cheese, got it with cheese on it and we didn’t get our salads. Took it back to get the plain eggplant, sausage, and peppers they gave us a bowl full of sausage and peppers and the peppers were not cooked. This is very disappointing because we have never ever had a problem before and we have been dinning there for over 5 years. Needless to say we are going to take a break and try again some other time.

We went to Dante’s as a large group of adults and kids after a soccer game for a local tournament.
After 20-30 minutes of being seated, we finally got our order taken. The staff was friendly and did the best they could, but the kitchen definitely wasn’t prepared for us even though we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Friday night.
It took at least an hour to get our food. For some reason the Philly Cheesesteak came with mayonnaise, so we asked for no mayo. The food didn’t have a ton of flavor and was disappointing. Unfortunately will not be a go-to for us next time we’re in Richmond.

Bomb pizza and wings! We had the California Pizza, Dante’s White Pizza, BBQ wings, and plain wings with hot sauce on the side with ranch. My buddy orders from here all the time and said the California pizza is now his fav. This was my first time and I LOVED the White Pizza, but the only thing I would change is that I like sausage more than chicken and would ask to substitute that next time. Def would order from here again, and can’t wait to introduce more people to this place!

dine in ok.. but more a take out.. wings good as was salad and bread. desert ok. but the entray veal masala was poor… just a preformed breaded patty like grocery store type over spaghetti mushrooms and some kind of sauce… Will not order it again. overall not that great to come back for. Waiter service superp. TV on soccer game with Spanish.. Not even Italian…..but did turn down volume when requested…
