I had never had a Philly sandwich before and was excited to try one, especially since this is a new place in town. The woman at the register was kind and polite, and the restaurant was clean with seating available. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the food. The sandwich lacked presentation and flavor, which made me question if I ordered it wrong or should have added extras. The cheese sticks also came without a sauce option. I understand they’re new and working out the kinks, but overall it was a bit disappointing.

Customer service great. Cute set up. Do I expect authentic from a small pop shop. In a small town. Not really. So I’ll over look the sauces. Sandwich is good.
Fry times are good. Zucchini needs to be dried with salt before battered and fried. Good spot.
Decent.

I have eaten here twice, first time ordered the 10” cheese steak. The sandwich was in the dry side with some of the meat a little crispy and hardly any onions. Overall the sandwich was ok. I also had the fries, which were good. Second time I went, I got the 6” cheese steak and it was better than the first sandwich I had in a prior visit. The 6” had the right amount of cheese to meat, but again not many onions. The bun was soft on both visits.
I can’t pin point the origin of a taste I am picking up that leans toward asian food, could be the oil being used, but not sure.
I would not call this an authentic Philly cheese steak, but it is a nice sandwich and close to home here in Frederick.

Old Philly Town recently opened a new location at 515 Oak Street in Frederick, Colorado. It offers a quaint atmosphere, top-notch service, and a delicious selection of sandwiches and sides. The fries, onion rings, and zucchini sticks complement the fresh, made-to-order sandwiches perfectly. The meat is always tender, and the bread is always fresh. The food is well worth the occasional brief wait to receive your order, as friendly staff strive to prepare each order to each customer’s satisfaction.
This place is a unique and welcome addition to the local dining scene.

They were great and friendly! It’s a small place but it feels like it fits for a small town. Loved the food! Exactly what I expected and will be going back.

I live within walking distance and was super excited when I heard this place was opening near me, I’m from Philly originally and I have had so many cheesesteaks over the years.. this was the worst. Got to the register, ordered a regular cheesesteak with provolone and onions, BARELY if any onion on it and where was the provolone.. if you want a better cheesesteak go to Angelo’s in Boulder next to Safeway
