Booming with flavor and felt just like home. The environment was welcoming, cozy, and so relaxing.

We were looking for a place with generous portions where we could really enjoy the food and actually feel full by the time we finished — and this place delivered! We both even had leftovers

We had the spam musubi, kalua pig, katsu chicken, garlic (jumbo ) shrimp, mac salad, pineapple, and white rice — and every single item was amazing. Everything was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.

For dessert we shared their coconut cake and it was the perfect combo of sweet and moist. So good!

We also tried the rainbow otai (fruit drink) and it was a burst of tropical, chilled, satisfying fruits. Yummy!

This is now our favorite restaurant in Utah and officially on our calendar for monthly dates. We can’t wait to come back!
Truly a hidden gem in Provo.

This is the best Hawaiian food in all of the mainland!! Nothing beats their daily specials.
Their Loco Moco and Garlic Chicken is some of the best I’ve ever had.

Omai and the family are amazing.

This place is a must go and they also cater!!!

This place is a hidden gem! I’ve passed it many times but finally decided to try it out. It was a great decision.

We were greeted warmly by the family that runs the place. They’ve been open for over 30 years – the oldest Polynesian restaurant in Utah!

They’ve got a great variety of specials every day. Tuesday’s was garlic chicken. They offered samples immediately and they were delicious! I got the garlic chicken and the Katsu chicken with rice and Mac salad. They sauced the plate up and made it right there – no wait time!

The place has a chill atmosphere; Polynesian music playing and it smells good. The owners are real sweet.

The food itself was a great experience. I’m definitely coming back, especially after singing up for the rewards program haha.

Really friendly staff. Clean restaurant. They have music videos playing on a TV there for atmosphere which is fine. Food was edible, but not impressive. We went here because of the high reviews. We know good Hawaiian food. The food was bland or overly sweet. Kalua pork was soggy bland meat. Noodles were covered in sauce, but bland. Rice was just plain white rice with no seasonings in it or sauce put over it. Mac salad was okay. Pineapple side was okay. Couldn’t figure out what they do to turn it orange/reddish. Kalibi ribs were drenched in BBQ sauce and overcooked. Teriyaki chicken was okay. Katsu chicken was interesting. Mostly breading with anemic chicken. Not crunchy like you expect. Everything was put in warming trays for serving for the masses which usually is what can affect flavor and everything potentially. Just not impressed enough to return. No depth of flavor really.

Tastes homemade in all the best way. The whole atmosphere is welcoming. I love going places where they are truly passionate about what they do, and do it really well.

I love the people almost as much as I love the food here!!!
They are family owned and run. The pokè bowls are to die for:
Always fresh
Fast
Delicious
I rely solely on the teriyaki chicken “sauced up” and you have to try everything on the menu. They have amazing guava cake, otai and garlic chicken. They have daily specials so it’s worth waiting.the plates are by size one meat or two. (8-15 dollars)
The parking is easy in but hard out when it’s busy so backing in is worth it. The pineapple salad is AMAZING (my dad prefers the nMac salad )
Any other island food is nothing compared to here.
Seating is easy and always clean, never sticky.

The staff is very friendly and greets you as you come in and leave. The food portions are huge. I ordered a big plate with 2 meats and split it with my significant other. I had katsu chicken and teriyaki chicken, Mac salad with rice. Also we had noodles that came with it. They have a daily special Monday through Saturday. You can choose from a small or large plate lunch. They have a few options that are gluten free: kailua pig, rice, fresh pineapple and katsu sauce. You can have a fountain soda drink or Hawaiian Sun juices, coconut water, ‘Otai fruit drink. Snacks are kettle chips or spam musubi. Desserts are coconut cake, guava cake or pineapple cake.

Very laid-back atmosphere and very friendly family run business. It is really refreshing to go someplace that isn’t completely commercialized. I felt that the prices for food were fair and the overall quality was great. The pineapple that I got was amazing, it was one of the sweetest pineapples I’ve had in a long time! Quite a few people took orders to go so it was a pretty quiet place to meet and you didn’t have anyone walking up and bothering you while you talked. I tried the noodles this time and they were good but I think I would probably just asked for more rice instead next time. I will definitely be going back in the future!

This is a great little gem in Provo, Utah.

My husband, four year old daughter, and I shared a large chicken teriyaki meal. We all got plenty to eat. The worker was really friendly and I could tell she enjoyed her job. Customer Service is just as important as the food served….and she was fantastic. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
