Delicious Pizzas!
It is our favorite place to order Pizza Delivery from. Their thick Pizza has a unique flavor that we just love.
We also like how they provide several size choices for the Pizzas. Their 8″ is pretty good, specially with the build your own option!
I like the Calzones as well.
The delivery time could be a bit faster, but it isn’t too slow too, and the Pizzas always comes hot with melty and tasty cheese.

The sausage is SPICY Italian sausage!! Be warned! The calzone is fine and large but not fair to not warn customers. In the grocery store one can pick between spicy/regular/sweet. But you get what you get here. I just don’t expect my ITALIAN food to be a 4 star heat out of 5. Ouch.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The pricing is blatantly misleading. The menu online clearly lists a large pizza with 3 toppings for $24, yet when we got the bill it came out to nearly $40.

What made the situation even worse was the response when I pointed it out. Instead of acknowledging the discrepancy or offering any explanation, my concerns were completely brushed off.

Charging customers 50% more than the advertised price and then dismissing them when they question it is incredibly unethical. Businesses that operate this way don’t deserve customers, and frankly don’t deserve to stay open. Save yourself the frustration and take your money somewhere that actually respects its customers.

Great spot for a beer and a game. Anna was awesome behind the bar, and the happy hour can’t be beat. Its a dyed in the wool Dawg bar with spirited sports fans and locals.

Please update your website when closed on holidays. It would be very helpful for families with children at Seattle Children’s Hospital looking for a place to eat on Thanksgiving or other holidays when not much is open and your website says that you are. Just a common courtesy to have your information updated. Also you may want to shut down your online ordering on these days as well since I’m not sure how I’d get the pizza that I can currently order and pay for. With that in mind we won’t be trying. If you are staying at Seattle Children’s just be aware they are not on top of their socials and internet information. Possibly good food? We will never know. Terrible management of online information.

Title: “A Taste of Pizza Paradise with a Dash of Maddie’s Magic!”
Review:
Oh, Varlamos Pizzeria, you’ve officially stolen a pizza my heart!

From the moment we stepped into this charming pizzeria in Laurelhurst, WA, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance was cozy, inviting, and carried a delightful aroma that made our taste buds tango in anticipation.

Our fantastic server, Maddie, swooped in with an infectious smile and a world of recommendations. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she passionately described the Tortellini Bella Peppa, a dish that transcended the boundaries of pasta perfection. With every heavenly bite, it felt like we were doing a little pasta dance with the Italian gods themselves.

But the feast didn’t stop there! We indulged in the lasagna, meatballs, and the glorious Formaggio Calzone. Each dish delivered a symphony of flavors, leaving us speechless (and fork-full). The taste explosion was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece!

Speaking of the Formaggio Calzone, I must warn you—this heavenly creation is not for the faint of heart… or stomach! It arrived at our table, the size of a football, daring us to conquer its cheesy magnificence. We bravely accepted the challenge and emerged victorious, albeit in a delightful food coma.

Now, let’s talk about portion sizes. Varlamos Pizzeria, you have officially mastered the art of fairness! The portions were beyond generous, ensuring we left with satisfied appetites and happy souls. This place is a haven for families, where both young and old can gather, indulge, and create lifelong memories over mouthwatering meals.

To top it all off, the prices were more than reasonable, leaving us with an extra reason to rejoice. It’s rare to find a pizzeria that offers such quality without breaking the bank. Varlamos, you’ve won our hearts (and stomachs) with your incredible value.

In summary, dear Varlamos Pizzeria, you’ve enchanted us with your mouthwatering dishes, exemplary service, and a cozy atmosphere that feels like a warm hug. We’re already planning our triumphant return to experience more of your culinary magic. If you’re in Laurelhurst, do yourself a favor and visit this hidden gem—you won’t regret it!

Buon appetito and a standing ovation for Maddie and the Varlamos team!

We got:
The Meatballs (bar menu!)
The Tortellini Bella Peppa (the star of the show for me!) “Cheese tortellini sauteed with fresh garlic, roasted red peppers and sausage in a spicy Alfredo sauce.” *don’t skimp on the red pepper flakes! Chefs kiss! Muah!
The Lasagna
The Formaggio Calzone “Swiss, Parmesan, Feta, Ricotta and Mozzarella.”

Ps. You’d think that the side salad would be meh… but it’s actually tasty!

5/5 for price, family friendly vibes, Maddie (our server), and tasty food.

Called in an order of calzones to go from the resto one evening on the way home. Hubby had a craving for the pesto, pine nuts and dried tomatoes calzone he used to have regularly from Varlamos – he said it was the best one of all the places he has tried. I ordered a meat calzone for the little kiddo.

The calzones both came with a side salad and our preferred dressing in a small container. The calzones were huge (each was good for two small adults) but my kiddo loved his so much he insisted that I give the restaurant 5 stars, and asked if he can have the left over the next day (he devoured 2/3 of the dish). I had the two salads (they were nice and crisp) while hubby guiltily ate all the pine nut calzone.

The calzones were made to order so we waited a while for the order but it was worth it.

So, five stars for the pizzeria as ordered =)

Grew up coming here all the time with family and friends eating great food, having lots of laughs, being served by helpful friendly staff, and being greeted by Kosta. So nice coming in tonight and having the same wonderful time. It’s been a few years since living in Seattle and many more since living in Sand Point. Aside from the 5/5 nostalgia was also a 5/5 experience. Thank you Kosta and crew!

We ordered feta fingers and a medium pizza, presentation was great and pickup time was about 20min. But it went down hill from there, we ended up with half Pesto- half Terminator instead of the intended half Pesto- half Mediterranean. The pizza was suuuper greasy, like see the sky in the reflection of the box greasy(pic), oh and an entire artichoke heart smack dab in the center of the slice. Not sure this is our type of place.
