I ordered a surprise bag from Lupos on the 24th and unfortunately they had run out when I went to pick it up. However the manager was incredibly kind and offered for me to come back the next day (Christmas!) and get a freshly made pizza of my choice for free. The margherita was delicious and the customer care was greatly appreciated. I would definitely come back and would love to eat in the restaurant to get the full dining experience (I loved the ambience and decorations)

I was overall impressed by the food here. The caprese salad was delicious and gave generous portions of tomato and cheese. The prosciutto and arugula pizza was also amazing, it was prepared with this sharp cheese and balsamic that tied the whole thing together perfectly. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and only complaint was that the marina sauce for that was a bit bland. Drinks and service were also great.

Burger was insane!!!! I didn’t think I’d come across an amazing burger at a pizzeria but here we are. I split the burger (you get a full one) and took pictures of the fries that come with it separately. The buns of the burger I assume are wood fired pizza dough paired with a nice mayo, caramelized onions, and juuuicy hamburger patty. They have happy hour 3-7PM and the burgers were only $10!!! Get the Lupetto burger you will not regret it.

Great ambiance for a random lunch day and the service is professional while being friendly. Ordered the polpette pizza and while it was tasty, the sausage was lackluster. Next time I’ll try something new or ask to sub the sausage for a different option. For dessert was their zepolle ripiena and it was delicious. Definitely a place to visit next time you’re in DC!

Decided to stop by yesterday to enjoy their happy hour specials.
Ambiance was cool, but I must say I wasn’t pleased with the service. I ordered calamari from the happy hour menu ($10), and a Caesar salad ($13) with chicken (+$9) from the regular menu.
The food was tasty and came out fast – but my salad had no chicken in it, and when I got my bill I was charged for the regular calamari entree ($16) plus I was billed for chicken in my salad. I was not reimbursed for the chicken I never received.
I was disappointed when the bartender told me she couldn’t fix my bill because she “thought I pointed to the calamari on the regular menu”. I kindly refused the drink she offered me to comp the billing mistake.
Hopefully my next experience here, if at all, will be much better. This place has lots of potential.

Wow, a seriously unique Italian experience. Perfect stop for a late night pizza, wonderful atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, and some of the best pizza you will ever see, smell, taste in your life. The cocktails were light and refreshing, and you just can’t help but feel at home here. The Lupo Marino pizza with prawns, mussels, and calamari along with the black squid ink dough was completely unlike any pie I’ve ever had. I totally recommend it if you’re up for something on the exotic side.
