Traveling. Looking to feed 6 people without a lot of time. Pizza was excellent. Prices were extremely competitive. I’m going to make this my go to stop when I’m in the area. Absolutely delicious. Thank you
Fries pizza and drinks. Ate it before I took any pictures so I’ll show you the place.

We came from LA just to try this pizza. It was so so delicious. Gluten-free menu as well. You can build your own castle, have takeout specials, clean nice spacious area to sit down. Great staff.

Highly recommend! I’m from NY and I liked the pizza, which says a lot! Lots of variety of slices of pizza and quick service. The pizza was served hot and the guy behind the counter was so nice! Answered all my questions and asked questions to make sure my order was accurate. I got food to stay and also food to go. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the neighborhood!

When I lived in San Diego from 1994 to 2004, our small Jewish community had a few kosher eateries. There was: Lang’s Loaf for bagels and Shmoozers for pizza in the College Area, and for more upscale dining there was Sheila’s and Les Marais in the La Jolla area. Sadly, they’re all long gone now.
But happily, in East La Mesa, Pizzaworks opened about one year ago. It’s bright, spacious, and offers a wide variety of pizzas (whole pies, or by the slice), salads, and ice cream with plenty of tables for a sit down meal. The service was quick, although on this occasion my extra pineapple topping was forgotten when served. But, they made it right by giving me a second order, with pineapple, on the house.

First time there, it was highly recommended by friends. We were not disappointed. The mushroom medley pizza was really good and the crust is light, crisp and outstanding. They sell slices so you can try several different types of their pizzas. We will definitely go again.

La Mesa Pizza Works was honestly such a great experience! The pizza was incredible — we tried a few different kinds and somehow each one was better than the next. The lasagna was also delicious, super comforting, and made really well. The staff was so friendly, the place was clean, and the service was fast, which I really appreciated.
For anyone looking for a kosher spot close to San Diego (or in the La Mesa area), this is a perfect place to come. And bonus — it’s open on Saturday nights when Shabbat ends early. Highly recommend! ✨

My boyfriend have come here every Sunday since they opened and are working our way through the menu. So far my favorites have been the rosemary potato and the BBQ, but they’ve all been so delicious! The employees have all been super nice as well!
I’m vegetarian and and none of the pizzas have meat, so it’s really nice to have lots of options! they even have dairy-free and gluten-free options if you’re buying a whole pizza! I haven’t tried any of the sides or desserts yet, but I’m excited to!

Amazing pizza – even our foodie pizza snob said so! Service was great, they made sure we had what we needed and quickly. Stars off because the decor was kind of meh. Worth the trip!
