Tonight I wanted to try someplace new and happened across Contessa’s. The place is quaint, seating about 15 in the entire dining room. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, so I found myself getting to know the regulars seated near me as they raved about the food.
They weren’t wrong. Gino takes pride in the food he serves and it certainly shows. The chicken wings were superb. Each piece lightly battered and crispy yet tender and juicy. And the sauces were a flavorful compliment rather than drowning the wings or overpowering them.
The veggies all tasted fresh, whether from the delicious chopped salad or the angry pasta adorned with peppers. And the marinara sauce is sweet but bursting with flavor from the many herbs within.
Gino is an artisan and aims to please. I look forward to trying many more of the items on his menu and becoming one of those familiar faces each month.

Great place for Pasta, fast and friendly service. I tried the Carbonara and it was enough for 2 meals! The chicken in the dish was melt in your mouth and the sauce was flavorful and not too salty. It came with a huge salad that was very fresh. I recommend this place and look forward to be brave enough to try the Peppers with Angle Hair Pasta next time! The pizza was affordable and tasty, I would say the pasta is their specialty with pizza as a side. The pizza crust is typical crust and really didn’t stand out as a true pizzeria with it’s own taste and texture.

Home-made simple yet tasty Italian food in a warm family style decor and on top of it all is their friendly hospitality.
Large portions of pasta and fully topped pizza. Even the starters of fried zucchini and contessa peppers were amazing.
I’ll surely drop by again when in the area and recommend others to give it a try.

First time customer and I’ll never patronize this business ever again. Among other things…they delivered burnt lemon pepper wings with all of the sauce spilled out which ruined other people’s dishes. Called to see how the issue could be corrected and the manager instantly began overtalking me and repeating himself before I could get 2 words in. Told me that they haven’t sold lemon pepper wings in years (not sure how I was able to order them if that were the case ). Stated they weren’t given an address then claimed they said they don’t deliver that far when the order was originally placed (well how did we get our food if you don’t deliver to said location)…straight contradicted himself!! Then when I asked him to stop being rude/disrespectful he kept going and told me to never call again. The lady was rude too and very short with us. Totally unprofessional and you got your wish…I can get over the fact that the food was horrible but poor customer service is a no-no in my book. Welp got our $5 lunch special worth

I visited Contessas Italian pizzeria today based on high score in Google maps. I’m very happy to say that it was a good recommendation! I ordered a 16 inch pizza with sausage pepperoni and onions. I just took my first bite and I can tell you that their sauce is a bright flavorful tomato sauce with garlic and that their cheese is real cheese that has real flavor. The sausage is flavorful there are plenty of toppings.
I’m very happy and will definitely be coming back here again they aren’t my five star rating and my loyalty.
Don’t get me wrong this is a small mom and pop kind of place and it taste like it. Family made Italian goodness. I’m not sure if they are not but I would guess the employee used to be family.
The dining room is not very big and only has room for I think six tables of four but they had one pushed together to make a large seating for people as well.
They told me my pizza to be ready in 30 minutes it was ready a bit sooner which is always a nice surprise.
I did let them know that it was my first time here and they thanked me for trying them out wanted to know why I did, gave me menus for lunch and for dinner to go and we’re really happy to have me there. This is how customers should be treated, like new friends around a table.

Stopped here for a pizza after car show and all I can say is WOW. They were busy but so friendly. They have a patio.. can’t wait to come back and have pasta and HOMEMADE meatballs!
