Tried Orleans & York – Crenshaw and overall it was a solid experience.

We ordered the fried oysters and catfish with fries and coleslaw. Everything came out beautifully crispy the texture was on point. The fries slapped and were delicious, but everything was missing seasoning, so while the crunch was there, the flavour didn’t quite hit the same way.

There was a butter chili sauce served alongside and unfortunately it also lacked depth and seasoning. It had potential, just needed a bit more punch.

That said, the service was incredibly hospitable and welcoming… genuinely warm staff. The spot was clean and had a great vibe.

And the standout? The sweet buttermilk cornbread. Absolutely divine. Soft, sweet, perfectly balanced. I would come back for that alone.

My friend and I ordered the Hot Brooklyn & the Shrimp Po’boy w/ Fries & Peach Crumble. It was all tasty and we ordered for pick up so it wasn’t hot and fresh anymore BUT still good. This meal was $51, $45 even before the Peach Crumble which was $6. I love the ambiance, next time I will dine in.

Some of the best food I had in LA. I got the dirty po’boy and it was fantastic. Super nice staff too, I accidentally charged the wrong card and they helped me refund it and charge the right card.

Took my mom and her best friend (the old lady gang or Thelma & Louise) for lunch. They really enjoyed their catfish and fries. My mom also had the Cajun potato salad. She loves spicy food. I got the vegan chop cheese! It was better than I expected!!! Definitely gonna go back and try more vegan dishes. For my beverage I got a slushy with all the flavors.

Hey you guys so I’m back with my Review from Orleans and York on Crenshaw and I like this location became there is a lot of parking in back if the front is full because the one was Slauson was crazy small but anyway. I ordered delivery and let me tell yall it came fast like this delivery driver was not playing about bringing me this food yall and yall know I tipped a little extra anyways. I have been here and the place is nice and the service is always great. So I ordered the shrimp po boy, chicken strips with lemon pepper and corn beef on rye and let me tell yall all the food was fresh, hot and so delicious very . Like the bread on my po boy tasted like it was baked on the spot. And them lemon pepper strips on my God yall I’m telling yall they was on point that night. The total was 85.08 yall but let me tell you it was worth it. One of my favorite spots. Please don’t be upset with me yall but he ate his sandwich so quick I didn’t get a pic of the corn beef yall but it was fire….

Last week I ordered take out from Harold and Bells. I was craving New Orleans style ted snapper and cat fish. I settled for red snapper. It was picked up within the time frame specified. When we received it, it was cold, hard as card board and tasteless. Absolute horrible and this platter was $40 plus tax.
. Nevertheless, my craving wasn’t satisfied, so today I went to Orleans and York. I ordered Ala Carte red snapper and cat fish. It was hot, succulent, tasty, and fried crispy. It was absolutely delicious and 1/2 the price of Harold and Bells. If you have a choice, go to Orleans and York. They are about 1 mile apart in distance, but the food quality is a 100 percent difference in taste and food quality.
