I was hungry for a good deli sandwich and this place did not disappoint although I did not expect such a gargantuan sandwich called the “Dagwood” what a feast it was and came with all the trimmings even including olives. The roast beef was so delicious and I am officially calling this a “proper sandwich” if you are in search of great deli sandwiches I would highly recommend this place. They are also reasonably priced. The seating was a choice of high top Coke~Cola and bench seating. Bonus….You can even get a full fish tackle setup for fishing.

The owner (i think) was absolutely fantastic, I ordered their insane sandwich (the dagwood) after my family ordered reasonable menu items. I ate 1/4 of the sandwich & we shared it as a family for dinner! He offered my sons lollipops & was so incredibly friendly, checking on us multiple times, I told him I did a pathetic job at finishing the amazing 3 pound sandwich, he was so funny & nice.

Old mini mart with some bomb food! Great service. The Dogwood is so big that it’s comical. It’s big enough to feed two people or one VERY hungry person. After I ordered it, he goes “have you had it before?” Almost as a warning, LOL. Super good, with fresh ingredients. going to have to come back for the tuna melt.

The sandwiches at Island View are absolutely incredible! The Italian sandwich I had was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Beyond the amazing food, the staff are wonderful and the service is top-notch. And seriously, the cheeky signs scattered around are a delightful touch that really made me smile. I’ll definitely be back!

Stopped by here before playing a round at Columbia Park. Not really much of a selection but still a cool spot to check out some discs. The guy who runs the place was knowledgeable and friendly. Also a deli so you can pick up some food before your round.

I’ve heard so much about island view deli I decided to stop in. I built my own sandwich. I couldn’t believe how HUGE the sandwich was. I’ll be coming back for more.
