A nice Thai restaurant on Rt 35 in Sea Girt. Not a fancy dining room and no liquor license but the service and food is excellent.
We had Tom Kna soup and a Nom Sod salad. Both were great. For dinner we shared Spicy Rice with pork and Kang Deang Curry dish and ordered both with less sauce than normal. We really enjoyed both and the dishes are large (see photos). The service is very good. We eat there a few times a month and will continue.

Everything we tried was super tasty, especially the seafood fried rice. Just a heads-up: the two-star dishes are really spicy.

First time here and we got the Eggplant & Chicken Basil entree and the Chicken Sam Rod and both were delicious. Thai chili sauce was soo good and the perfect amount of spice! They do takeout as well. Menu prices are reasonable and portions are great (not too much or too little). We will definitely try this again.

I recently had dinner at this restaurant, and the food was just okay. For appetizers, we ordered fried wings and chicken dumplings. For dinner, we got the seafood fried rice, which surprisingly only had three pieces of shrimp. Having eaten at many Thai restaurants, I can say this was my least favorite experience.

I absolutely love this place, and it definitely deserves more recognition! The food is fantastic, I’m a creature of habit and always order the dumplings and spicy fried rice with chicken (when they say spicy, they mean it!), while my boyfriend swears by the Bangkok duck and the curry. The quality is impressively consistent, everything tastes just as good every time we go. On top of that, the service is always friendly and the food comes out fast. Don’t sleep on this spot, if you’re craving Thai food THIS is the place to go.

I’ve been to this casual BYO Thai restaurant a number of times. The food deeply flavorful , fresh and well prepared. And you can’t beat the prices.

Quaint sunny atmosphere with friendly good service and delicious food. I had the Pad Thai done vegan and my friend had the Chicken Pad Thai. We also had the spring rolls. Both of us enjoyed our meals. The food was fresh and very tasty. We will be back.

Siam Basil Thai is the go to Asian cuisine in Sea Girt or Spring Lake.
The KANG MUSSAMUN curry with rice noodles is perfection, go to three stars on the spice. Four stars you want to sweat a little.
